But to answer your question, I can do magic. [Which is not at all a secret even though maybe Zatanna shouldn't just go around telling strangers that, oops.] You have to be born with the potential for it, oooor go through some really wicked life changes, but those who can still have to develop their powers. It's as much a skill as it is an ability.

I'm a biotic because of two freak incidents. My mother was exposed to element zero dust in a starship accident over our colony while she was pregnant with me, and then there was another one when I was a teenager.

I don't know that it qualifies as a power, but I can use alchemy. Manipulate and transform matter, but I don't think it's really a power so much as it is a science.

I'm a medium- the "I see dead people" type, not the palm reading type. I mean, I do a little bit of that kind of stuff too but it's not related to my sense or anything, you know?

Practically speaking, the sixth sense business means I see and talk to ghosts as well as pick up on markers left behind where someone's died. I can sense living folks too, so long as they're not just baseline human.

As far as I'm aware, I was born with it, but I have no idea if it's genetic or what.
