[He pauses as he types out the text, considering if he should be honest about his intentions or not. It's not like he had any sinister plans or anything. It's just a matter of being private. But he doesn't want to sound too weird or shady. This sounds shady doesn't it??

He types and deletes a bunch of times, unhappy with most of the reasons he tries to give for asking the question. This one makes him sound too weak, this one makes him sound too ignorant, this one just makes him sound stupid. Eventually he settles for...well, nothing. He just gives up and hits send.]

um yeah. i guess its kind of levitation? i move things with my mind.

Well, yeah. Any magic does. [That's just basic—so if this guy doesn't know that much, he really is at square one.] I'm pretty used to it though, since it runs in my family. I mean, there's still a lot I have to learn, but I've been practicing for practically my whole life.

So telekinesis? [Too bad it's text, or he might get an idea of how casually Zatanna throws that out.] I know a couple of people who can do that. Mostly Martians. I guess that isn't as big of a thing though, since we're in outer space.

yeah magic and stuff is completely new to me.

im learning its a lot more common than i thought. which is kind of cool. i only knew two other people with it and they knew as much about it as i did

What you're doing might not even be magic. Psychic power is similar, but definitely not the same thing.

[Zatanna and M'gann don't have interchangable powers, even if they both can levitate things off the ground.]

Yeah, superpowers kind of are the sort of thing you don't realize are really prevalent until you get steeped in that world. It's a little sad, really. I mean, I grew up with mine, so I've known about it all along, but it's got to be pretty freaky to just discover you've got some insane ability.
