My goodness. I haven't been gone for all that long and suddenly there's even more of you buggers.
[a+ intro as always. at least she hasn't threatened to kill anyone this time?]
Lady Aurelia Hammerlock, darlings. Arbitration officer. Feel free to come to me with any of your problems and I shall hand out free advice. Or a gun - I play it case by case.
[...welp.]
Oh, and J. Darling. It's only a little bit personal but I have to sucker punch you in the throat. I'm sure you understand.
locked to all arbitration officers
Bitch is baaaack! [she says in an obnoxious sing song voice.] Come, come, do introduce yourselves to me. Or give me an update of the last month or so. Oh, goodness! I do hope something interesting has happened.
locked to tarn
How marvelous to see you still on the crew list, darling!
[genuine delight to see tarn. must be a first.]
We must have a catch up, how about the simulation deck at lunch? Is it still around? There's nothing like a date while sniping.

So, it comes as a shock to him when he finds himself wholly relieved to hear her voice.]
Aurelia.
[The greeting is simple but the warmth and genuine relief should be apparent through the uncharacteristic crackle in his voice. Tarn has purposefully chosen to keep the interaction strictly through the audio comm on his MID, unwilling to show Aurelia his bare and battered face, and by proxy, his shame in losing a battle.]
It certainly has been a while. I must admit that I'm glad to see that you're well.
As much as I would love to meet you at the simulation deck, I'm afraid we may have to take a rain check.
[He needs an excuse...]
I'm unwell .
Re: [audio]
[ain't even mad. much.]
...
Unwell?

However, I would be more than happy to catch you up even if it's not in person.

[the skepticism is clear in her tone.]
I'll take it, either way. How do you find yourself, darling? What's been going on?

Well we beat the Caducans as you may imagine. I'm not certain how they thought that they has any chance against us, but here we are. Not much changed after that but the Ingress has been particularly... defective since then.
A fair portion of the crew, myself included, ended up randomly transported to a slaving outpost in this sector of space. I spent two weeks locked in a cell with a few Autobots for the amusement of this bizzare organic before we were broken free. And then, after returning back, the Ingress decided to spit out what seems like 50 new crewmembers at the exact same time as new Captains take leadership or the Moira.
[the longer this goes on the more irritated Tarn begins to sound and the more his vocalizer clicks. he has to stop to clear his throat. ]
As it turns out these new captains are extremely conservative with the resources aboard the vessel and it seems to have put the crew rather at odds with them. Personally I couldn't care less about there being bright lights in the hallways. the dimness of it all makes me feel rather at home.
[He's done. Thats all she needs to to know.]
Its been a strange few weeks.

Re: [Text]
In an example to answer your question, I might bring a firearm into the equation if I feel it would make the situation more interesting. Perhaps if the recipient was prone to bad decisions.

So you aren't entirely a fan of hold-action then? Negotiations and haggling over details? Some individuals don't learn without the motivation to see the error of their ways through threat and the potential for pain.
👌
The non-permanent death comes into that, you see.
You get shot in the face and either come back and never repeat that action or come back and start a revenge rampage.
This results in me either being left alone with a problem solved or a fun show to watch.
It's a win/win.

What with being in Cryo.
Glad to see you still here.

[what is this feeling........]
Yeah, I was in there last month. I think you went in when I got out.
You missed a good time with crew ending up on a slaver outpost. Could've used your eye.
no subject
Wouldn't have been the first slaver outpost I've shot into either.
Ah, c'est la vie.
They're not all that rare.

[She'll be damned. Literally.
J's actually glad to see that Aurelia's back and well. Although, to be honest, more for her own sake than for hers. She hasn't exactly missed her and for what she's gathered no one else had either, which is admittedly kind of sad, but the lack of her presence on the ship has been haunting her.]

I would like to schedule a meeting.
[It is a little unsettling that she's offering up firearms right off the bat, though. Pharah will be going into this wary.]

[pharah is about to be horribly disappointed.]
