My goodness. I haven't been gone for all that long and suddenly there's even  more of you buggers.

[a+ intro as always. at least she hasn't threatened to kill anyone this time?]

Lady Aurelia Hammerlock, darlings. Arbitration officer. Feel free to come to me with any of your problems and I shall hand out free advice. Or a gun - I play it case by case.

[...welp.]

Oh, and J. Darling. It's only a little bit personal but I have to sucker punch you in the throat. I'm sure you understand.

Bitch is baaaack! [she says in an obnoxious sing song voice.] Come, come, do introduce yourselves to me. Or give me an update of the last month or so. Oh, goodness! I do hope something interesting has happened.

How marvelous to see you still on the crew list, darling!

[genuine delight to see tarn. must be a first.]

We must have a catch up, how about the simulation deck at lunch? Is it still around? There's nothing like a date while sniping.

[Tarn would never admit it, but he's happy to se Aurelia again. Allies aboard this ship are hard to come by, and he has just found himself becoming comfortable with her when she had up and disappeared. Tarn had assumed that something had happened to her during the business with the Caducans, but found himself not caring quite enough to follow up. Aurelia is an organic after all.

So, it comes as a shock to him when he finds himself wholly relieved to hear her voice.]

Aurelia.

[The greeting is simple but the warmth and genuine relief should be apparent through the uncharacteristic crackle in his voice. Tarn has purposefully chosen to keep the interaction strictly through the audio comm on his MID, unwilling to show Aurelia his bare and battered face, and by proxy, his shame in losing a battle.]

It certainly has been a while. I must admit that I'm glad to see that you're well.

As much as I would love to meet you at the simulation deck, I'm afraid we may have to take a rain check.

[He needs an excuse...]

I'm unwell .

Your arbitration methods seem to range grossly, ma'am. In what case would you use a gun, if I may ask?

Oh, I am well-aware of that. Each situation should be handled with the right kind of delicacy or force depending on the complaint.

So you aren't entirely a fan of hold-action then? Negotiations and haggling over details? Some individuals don't learn without the motivation to see the error of their ways through threat and the potential for pain.

Indeed, madame. The learning curve seems rather harsh here at times. What do you mean by 'non-permanent death', if I may be so kind to ask?

How many inter-personal conflicts between crew members do you have to intervene on, would you say?
peacemongering: (Countdown)

[personal profile] peacemongering 2016-08-15 08:31 pm (UTC)(link)
And what technology allows this sort of turn of events? I suppose that losing members of the crew would leave gaps in the scheduling, but still, death tends to be rather permanent were I come from.

Oh of course. More opportunities for your unique arbitration skills, no doubt. Were you an arbitrator where you came from?

It seems worthwhile to inquire further.

I previously haven't associated arbitration with fine sniping skills, but you have clearly opened my eyes on this matter. It does seem as if your arbitration skills are so top-notch that it blows people's minds.

Keeping a closed mind limits potential. I make it a habit to be as open-minded as possible.

I would still enjoy a personal demonstration, though not one where I experience the full scope of your skills on my person.

I hope there's more than one J on this ship.

Feels like too damn many these days. At least someone with sense is back with us.

[translation: welcome back I missed you]

Not fit for company is perhaps better phrasing.[It's a strange thing for Tarn to say. He'd never turn down the opportunity to slaughter organics, even if they are only part of the simulation deck. It would be a good outlet.]

However, I would be more than happy to catch you up even if it's not in person.

look what hell spat out.

[She'll be damned. Literally.

J's actually glad to see that Aurelia's back and well. Although, to be honest, more for her own sake than for hers. She hasn't exactly missed her and for what she's gathered no one else had either, which is admittedly kind of sad, but the lack of her presence on the ship has been haunting her.]

[Arbitration officer, huh? That might not be a bad place to start, concerning certain ... other residents.]

I would like to schedule a meeting.

[It is a little unsettling that she's offering up firearms right off the bat, though. Pharah will be going into this wary.]
