It's important to realise that not all problems can be solved the same way. In an example to answer your question, I might bring a firearm into the equation if I feel it would make the situation more interesting. Perhaps if the recipient was prone to bad decisions.

Oh, I am well-aware of that. Each situation should be handled with the right kind of delicacy or force depending on the complaint. So you aren't entirely a fan of hold-action then? Negotiations and haggling over details? Some individuals don't learn without the motivation to see the error of their ways through threat and the potential for pain.

Some individuals learn by being shot in the face. The non-permanent death comes into that, you see. You get shot in the face and either come back and never repeat that action or come back and start a revenge rampage. This results in me either being left alone with a problem solved or a fun show to watch. It's a win/win.

Indeed, madame. The learning curve seems rather harsh here at times. What do you mean by 'non-permanent death', if I may be so kind to ask? How many inter-personal conflicts between crew members do you have to intervene on, would you say?

And what technology allows this sort of turn of events? I suppose that losing members of the crew would leave gaps in the scheduling, but still, death tends to be rather permanent were I come from. Oh of course. More opportunities for your unique arbitration skills, no doubt. Were you an arbitrator where you came from?

As for me. I wouldn't know. Ask the captains. If by "arbitrator" you mean "exceptionally skilled sniper" then yes, I suppose I was one of sorts. Arbitrated people so hard their cranial matter tended to explode outwards.

It seems worthwhile to inquire further. I previously haven't associated arbitration with fine sniping skills, but you have clearly opened my eyes on this matter. It does seem as if your arbitration skills are so top-notch that it blows people's minds.
