[ When the video clicks on, immediately the scene on display is a modest sized farmhouse with what look like orchards in the distance. From the fairly temperate looking climate a good guess would be that this is on Kauto.

The video turns about, giving a flash of a large block of wood and what looks like smaller pieces scattered around it. Good guess is that someone is chopping wood but has taken a break for the moment. This is born out when Adrien's face comes into the feed, the doctor is dressed in a t-shirt rather than his usual uniform.

Slightly out of breath, his dark hair is plastered to his face at the temples and forehead. Yep, someone has been chopping wood, rather aggressively if the sweat is anything to go by. ]

I'll keep this short and to the point. [ Par for the course. ] For what it's worth to those you who are accident prone or otherwise given to ending up injured, I've applied for duties at the local hospital in Region One. [ He doesn't expect he's the only one but he'll let Angela and Alva speak for themselves. ]

I'm also -and I can't believe these words are leaving my mouth- using some of the equipment salvaged from the MedBay on the Moira to equip a private practice here at this location. [ He made a vague motion in the direction of the house. ]

The Savrii have been nothing but generous to this point and this is not to suggest there is a problem. Rather, he knows what it's like to be paranoid as fuck. ] ... well, what's the saying? [ Pausing for a drink of water, he fiddles for a moment with the bottle, before gazing up and over the top of the device, his eyes obviously scanning the landscape for something. He takes a breath, stops the words but then quickly finishes. ]

Uhhm ... I'm not sure, who else is on Kauto but ... has anyone happened to seen Courser in the past couple of days?

[ Though his tone is level, to anyone who knows him well, there is a definite edge of anxiety in his voice and in his expression. ]

How many of you have your own language from home?

[There is a very distinct pause as Arno realizes that question may need to be clarified.]

By language, I mean something that is unique to your country or culture. For example, I'm from France and our language is French- but if you go to our neighboring country Spain, they speak Spanish instead. Italy has Italian. Britain has English.

Hilariously enough, if you gathered a Frenchman and a Spaniard together, they would be able to hold a somewhat decent conversation in their own languages because they're similar. [There's a bit of a pause as he says "somewhat," because he's pretty sure he wouldn't completely understand Spanish unless given some time to really digest it.] I'm not exactly sure they'd understand everything, but the basics would be covered rather well.

I suppose I'm asking mostly because there's so many of us, and so there's bound to be similarities and differences. Even across worlds. It would be interesting to talk about it, and possibly teach others if they're wanting to learn as well.

[Because almost anything is better than thinking about their current situation or about the Savrii, in his opinion.]

Adrien had intended to send this out as a text, but he was still getting used to the new TABs and upon realizing his mistake, couldn't be arsed to change it. The doctor usually looks harried, it might have something to do with his perpetual scowl, but he's looking particularly yanked through a knothole backwards at the moment.

All the way down to the fact that he's obviously showered and made an attempt to trim his beard, only to wind up cutting himself. Please ignore the tell tale little dots of paper stuck to his face at the moment. The blade was dull, okay?! ]

It dawned on me, as these things do when one is slicing their face open with a razor, a question that probably should have been asked a week or so ago.

Those of you in the crew, who are capable of, or posses magical abilities and of a temperament to help, would you have a spell or a ... [ here he gestures with his hands, he's not trying to be offensive, magic is just not something his world has ever been exposed too and he's only aware that it can be vary from person to person. ] ... that would purify water?

Thinking if that ability exists, we might give it a try on those purple streams and see if we can remove some of the nasty side-effects and restock our supplies.

[Good morning, Moira. You are greeted with a strange video feed this morning. It opens with an untouched cup of steaming coffee and a plate that seems to have been emptied of food, save for one piece of alien fruit. A set of silver claws very carefully and painstakingly carving a face into said strange piece of alien-looking fruit in the mess hall, pulled from the plate once its completed its masterpiece. It doesn't look like much of anything, unless perhaps you've seen a certain visor around these parts. Then you might vaguely recognize the shape. Its not drawn very well.

The video feed holds on the masterpiece for a few seconds before said silver-fist comes slamming down on top of it and sends fruit juice and bits flying everywhere.

That's all, it seems, feed holding on the remains of the work of art, before a deep undead rasp speaks up off camera.]

Is breakfast still the most important meal of the day? Been a while since I had to think about it.

I've not had the chance to bring it up. However, a while ago I added some competitive programs to the training simulation room. They're meant to give people another healthy outlet for conflict and hostile energy as well as improve skills as matched by an opponent.

There are several games as well as the option to customize your own. There are also two settings. One "honest" where cheating will absolutely not be tolerated. One "deceptive" where cheating is so long as the AI referees don't catch you and you don't cause serious harm to your opponent. Surprisingly, both have their merits.

This is also a reminder that you can get hurt in there. It is possible, so ask a Med Bay staff member if to come along if necessary.

That said, I'd like to speak to someone on the medical staff if you have the time. At least I'll have a better idea of who people can request aid from while I'm at it. But I understand with recent changes you might have to wait.

Yo! I thought I should introduce myself! I am Genji Shimada. I am new here, and although many of my friends are here, I am very interested to speak to those I have yet to meet.

I will serve as a messenger on this ship, and I currently reside in Moro Deck, room six, if anyone would like to pay me a visit!

Please be patient with me, this is a very strange adjustment to make, I have never been into space, so I am still getting my bearings. I ask that you forgive any seemingly foolish questions from me.

More over, I am also looking for sparring and/or meditation partners to spend some of my spare time with. If anyone is interested, do not hesitate to contact. I am also happy to help guide meditation, if it interests someone who is a beginner.
