[ Seeing how Mei lives on Chioni with all of four other people, when her dreams have her running to her balcony to be sick over the edge, she doesn't organize a block party afterwards to discuss it. Instead, she goes back inside and creates a cocoon out of the blankets on her bed. She tries to read, but there's a listlessness to her now. A gnawing in her stomach and an odd feeling that feels very... isolating. She shivers and opens up her TAB. There are different kinds of isolation, but the kind that reminds Mei of a cryogenic tube and being the last left alive is the kind that frightens her. She needs to know she isn't alone. ]

Is anyone else awake? Would you like to keep each other company? I woke up not feeling very well and I don't think I could fall asleep right now.

I've never been particularly strong at making friends. However, lately, I have been wanting to gain some new friendships. In my world, this would have been hard enough to figure out how to connect. It seems even more daunting now that I'm trying to do it here, away from -- I guess the comfort of my own home.

Not that I don't have a new home here. It's very transitory, though, isn't it?

Does anyone else share similar desires to make new friends and difficulty figuring out how?

Or does making connections come easy to you?

Bryan was born and raised in metal can floating in space. Maybe he missed it sometimes, but once he'd had the ground beneath his feet, it'd felt like home. Might be because he was from farm station and he could actually do some real good on a planet with dirt and room to grow, but he didn't think people were really meant to spend their whole lives in the stars.

So he tells the love birds he's going to look around and takes the first ride down on the EN-Line to Kauto. It sparks up a ton of questions.]

( Or worse, though Claire's ideas of worse would probably not match up to anyone else's. That said Claire can't say that she really took in too much of what was being said to her, so she does need the confirmation )

What did you do? Or want to do?

( Because she doesn't know, not yet. There was considering going out from the Dollhouse and trying to find something but to end up in another world entirely? She doesn't know where to begin )

I've been thinking about pets lately. I've never had one myself but I've obviously known a lot of people who do or did. There's always interesting stories around how they got it or like funny stories about things pets do.

Mostly, just want to hear some pet stories. Is that weird? I guess I don't care if it's weird.
