Get involved in any affairs whatsoever, be it personal or political and I will personally murder you.

You'd think, wouldn't you? Unfortunately, they manage to drag a large majority down with them, and their poor choices reflect on the ship as a whole. Being a nomadic crew tends to have that effect. Have you ever heard of space pirates? They're a thing, and they are awful.

Their last venture involved hiring mercenaries. To protect a planet with a flammable atmosphere. To protect whales.
