[After Miller has gotten back from the station, helping Liquid (much to David's irritation) and assisting in a Bucky rescue. He had immediately had taken a shower and made sure his glasses were perfectly intact. But then? He made it to his room.]

[And this is the most exhausted sounding audio post he can probably make.]

Could someone bring me some new blankets and sheets for my bed on Nomo deck? It's #007. Apparently in my short time at the station, my husky saw fit to fill my bed with her small dogs. [And then to assure the few parties he knows will be concerned.] She's fine. They're fine. [It's just a mess.]

Apologies to my roommates. I'll have it cleaned up quickly. [He's been very on top of cleaning up after her. He's fussy enough to do this. But at the moment? After the prison? A little overwhelmed at the moment.]

[a while after the message goes out, john swings by laundry to get some new bed sheets for one, very exhausted miller. he shows up at kaz's door a few minutes after that and gives it a few knocks.

he figures it's the best course of action, considering he lives right down the hall from the man. but, you know, there's puppies there, too, and who wouldn't want to see them?]

[If there's anything that can wear a man out, it's carrying an unconscious Liquid. Fighting prison zombies to save Bucky didn't help. He's relieved at the knock on the door, more relieved that it's someone that knows why he's so tired.]

[He reaches out and takes the sheets.] Thanks. She's over there. [He nods inside, in case he wants to come in and see.]

[For right now he's set her up a little fort in the corner of the room, made up of a large tub meant for bussing tables and the old bed clothes. And she looks about as tired as miller, but the pups look fine. All eight of them.]

[john nods in lieu of a 'no problem'. they live on the same deck, after all. when kaz moves to put his new sheets on his bed, boss follows in after, peeking over at mama's makeshift den. she's practically asleep, curled up against her litter.

there's so many of them that, clumped together like that, they look like a pile of fluff.]

Well, at least you have a bunk on the bottom. [he's sure kaz's roommates would probably be less than thrilled if this had happened in one of their beds.] How long ago were they born?

[At least he figures if all the Snakes like her, and Harry likes her, she's probably one of the safest animals on the ship. Her and her brood.]

[Nothing like puppies to make Liquid sound downright cheerful despite everything. Well. Almost cheerful. It's in there.]

Can I come see them sometime? Or are they too young for visitors?

Didn't expect her to come with extra dogs when I got her.

[He actually does feel bad for his roommates. He knows at least one of them doesn't exactly have a spectacular temperament. He'll have to put forth more extra effort into keeping after them.]

Spares would be helpful. I just need to be able to keep up with her until they can take care of themselves.

[Which means once they're big enough to take out, he's never sleeping normally again. Not that he didn't anyway, but now he has something productive to do with that insomnia.]

[Because he was willing to help Kaz bring blankets if need be, otherwise he'd allow others to assist him. DD pushed his face into the small screen space and licked at the screen. Someone's happy to hear you, Kaz. Maybe he could hear the sound of puppies? Dogs did have amazing hearing.]

As for blankets I can come down and bring you some if you need me.

I got a few people wanting some. I'm sure they'll come up with good names for them.

Sure. I can use some extras. Just ah... make DD wait outside. She might get a little protective. [Strange wolf-looking dog near her puppies would make any mother nervous.]

[Venom glanced down at DD knew ordering him to stay was the best thing right now. Then Snake could go about delivering the blankets without unnerving Mama or the pups. That was the last thing he wanted. He made his way through the ship picking up some blankets on the way and arriving outside of where Kaz's transmission was. He felt DD brush against his leg, as he ordered him to stay.]

DD, stay! Good dog.

[He patted his dog's head, as DD sat obediently following his master's orders. Snake knocked on the door twice and hoped Kaz was still awake to answer the door. The poor guy needed rest.]

[ Bucky can totally hear all the high whines from the tiny newborn pups, and it is so adorable!! ]

They came! Oh my gosh, what terrible timing! How cute are they? I bet they are extremely cute. Maybe even horrendously!

[ Ahhh Bucky is so excited for puppies that aren't even his!! ]

You know... I've got an entire room to myself now, if uh you need somewhere to put 'em. Only if you want, a'course!

Oh my God, puppies! [That sure is a 47 year old man doing a pretty good impression of a tween valley girl. His normal accent is half-way there anyway.

Okay, enough of that. But damn is it good to have something nice to talk about after the awful that was those prison zombies.]
