GUESS WHO'S NERVOUS
also second, "guess who" but more literally, because this message contains only the TAB signature of one lady hawke - peter knows better than to connect his own TAB to his spider-man stuff, okay.
third guess (the charm) who's totally playing it off by being a cool guy, having totally hit record on the TAB remotely, so he's already squared off inside the video feed. congratulations to a head-and-shoulders view of some person in tight red and blue, head-to-apparently-toe spandex. as though spandex has any other possible adjective but 'tight'.
still, the same adjective could be applied to the posture, or at least what's visible. it's at least a... loose kind of tight? or something??
anyway, there's the kind of wave you do when you're either about to start a school project, or your great aunt josephine is giving you a thumbs up from afar for whatever weird family reunion cousin sack race you're about to do. ]
Hey everyone!
This is - [ uhh ] - just me. Spider-Man. Just saying, like. I think some people might have had some stuff missing when they evac'd, or whenever they tried to move around, I guess. Or maybe not, I - it's not like I talked to everyone. Either way, like. If you need stuff - your own stuff, please - moved around, or you want someone to keep an eye out for something, or you just need stuff - I can help with that! Or like if you need help getting here to there specifically, or have to move something really heavy, or - now I'm rambling, sorry. If you want help in general. I can't promise everything, but I can promise I'll try. At least, as much as I can.
[ that's what being a superhero is all about anyway, right? he's been slacking since he got here. ]
...........like, not just right now, I mean. All the time. I can be helpful all the time. This was a weird time to do this, wasn't it?
[ the feed cuts off a handful of hurriedly-over-analyzed seconds later. ]

You mean like spider silk? Because if it has anywhere near the tensile strength of real spider silk, that might actually be kinda cooler than spider minions.
[When she brings up tensile strength, she mimes stretching something out in the air. At which point one can see that one of her hands is a robo-hand.]
It's - I mean. I don't actually have a way to scientifically test it, but it's never broken on me so far, and I've used it to swing through several G's, pull up parts of buildings, stop moving vehicles, uh. Hang robbers.
[ wait ]
Not hang! Not like, hang hang. I mean I like. Tie them up and then hang them from something to make sure there's no way to escape. Because if they did get free then they'd just. Fall.
[ also ] Wait do you have a metal hand? [ he was a little distracted by being defensive. ] Why do you have a metal hand?
Oh, this? It's my handy-dandy cybernetic limb! [She flexes, and sure enough -- the whole arm is mechanical, at least up to the shoulder. Past that, it's covered by the sleeve of her shirt.] And I have it because I installed it, obviously. It's sort of like having my own superpowers!
... I mean, I can't really climb or walls, and I don't have any awesome ultra-strong spider silk. But I have the strength down! Kind of! Watch!
[She picks up a tin can up, the kind that a workshop might keep around for hold nails. And with her robo-hand, she... with some effort... crushes it down in the middle, kind of like a soda can.]
Okay, that was actually pretty lame. But if I had more room, I probably would've added gadgets, like a swiss army knife... arm... thing. You know?
[VIDEO] sry this is so late pal
It's cool enough! I'm sure you could fix it up - it's all mechanical, or hydraulics, or something, I don't know for sure since it's like, all internal, obviously, as it should be, but like, that's still really cool! You mean had more room internally? Is all the space taken up by the like... Mechanics and conforming to normal.... forms?
[VIDEO] as you can see I am not one to judge
See, I made this really cool science fair project, but it's like... it's a big, heavy rod that I didn't want to lug around, so I just keep in here instead. Makes sense, right?
