[The video feed flickers to life, and despite the commotion, it's very much intentional. For those of you who know Riptide, you can see him frantically trying to escape from two hands that about as big as he is. Finally, one hand seizes Riptide and slams him to the floor. With some stability now, the camera is able to focus on Ultra Magnus. For those of you who don't know him, prepare to be bored. For those of you who do know him, it's possible that he's much much bigger than you remember, having had a few necessary upgrades recently.]

[He clears his vocalizer.]

Attention to all those who receive this broadcast. My name is Ultra Magnus. I have recently come aboard this ship and have been given the position of bailiff and parole officer. Let it be known that I have served as an officer of the law prior to my enlistment aboard the Moira, and as such, I promise that I will treat my duties and responsibilities with the utmost care, respect, and diligence that is befitting the position. I am fair and even-handed, and I look forward to working with all of you and becoming a productive member of the community.

That said, I have in my custody the one known as Riptide. He is a former comrade of mine, who served aboard the same ship as I did. Some of you may know him, and I am obligated to inform you that trusting this individual is a huge mistake. He is, as of now, being apprehended for being an accessory to mutiny.

[If Riptide wriggles, Magnus quickly presses his considerable weight down on him to make him stop.]

As I am still unfamiliar with the ship, I wish to know where the brig is located. I also wish to know everything about the due process aboard, as I intend to have this...this...ne'er-do-well answer for his crimes against his chain of command. In addition, if there are any forms and paperwork associated with the booking of prisoners so that they can be properly processed, I will more than happily fill out any and all necessary forms.

Again, I hope to make your acquaintance and let's all be sure to follow the new rules and expectations set forth by our current caregivers.

[So after Starscream has himself a good laugh and takes a moment to compose himself so that he actually looks concerned about this situation, he's going to hop on the MID and give our boy Magnus a talkin' to. Here goes.]

Ultra Magnus, the relations between the Cybertronain and organic crew members aboard this ship are already strained, thanks to the alarmingly irresponsible situations your crew mates have caused in the past. I would think it in our best interests if you didn't publicly broadcast your infighting for all the ship to see. They already think we're dangerous enough without you throwing fuel on the fire.

Before you try to argue, I would like to remind you that I am the highest ranked Cybertronian aboard this ship, regardless of what badge you wear.

I plan to fully take on the responsibilities of the actions of my crew and the repercussions of them, Starscream.

I have no plans to argue with you, Starscream. I am bringing Riptide along quietly to Rodimus and Megatron so that he may provide us with answers. There is no need to worry about this escalating further.

You're missing the point, Ultra Magnus. There was absolutely no need to turn this into a public spectacle. That's the problem. By all means, take him to your Captains, but from this point on Cybertronian affairs are to be kept between Cybertronians. Do you understand?

If we are meant to coexist on this ship, then Cybertronian matters cannot be segregated.

If Riptide is a threat to the security of this ship, it affects us all.

You just said you weren't going to argue with me, and now you're arguing with me. How about don't.

If anything we do here affects the other people on this ship, then yes, get them involved! That's perfectly reasonable. This disgraceful display you've decided to put on isn't. As far as the laws on this ship are concerned, whatever Riptide did before his or your arrival here is irrelevant. In case you haven't noticed, the Captains are letting someone like Tarn wander around unchecked.

As an officer of the law, Starscream, it's my duty to investigate trouble. Trouble that could potentially cause harm to everyone. While I understand I am unable to detain Riptide, I am, however, going to see this investigation through. As for segregation of Cybertronian and organic matters, that is not feasible when we're all placed on a ship together to coexist. If necessary, I will take my case to the organics and I will allow them to punish me as they see fit for my actions.

If there is anything I know and respect most, it's the law, Starscream. And I am well aware that you know the law as well as anyone considering you've been skirting around it for millennia. If we are to work together, trust in the fact that I will do my job and I will do it right by all standards: Cybertronian and organic.

You're still doing it! I can't believe this!

Anyway, coexisting with these people also includes not scaring them right out of their skin. This isn't the first Cybertronain on Cybertronain dispute aboard this ship, Ultra Magnus, but it had better be the last.

I stated I wasn't going to argue with you over Riptide. I'm not. I never, however, stated that I would not make my difference of opinion regarding segregation of Cybertronian and organic issues be known.
