[Yes, Elizabeth is getting the picture that Allison is a little scrambled at the moment. Understandable given the circumstances, but still not a wonderful place to be.]

[A couple minutes later, she walks in and looks around for Allison. Elizabeth doesn't look so good herself-- pale, dark circles under her eyes, she looks like she's doing a great impression of Thán.]

[When Allison finally glances up to see Elizabeth, she gives her one look up and down, then promptly holds out her drink.

Elizabeth looks like she needs it more.]

[She offers Allison a weak smile and waves it away.] I shouldn't. You keep going, I'll make sure you don't end up face down somewhere terrible. [She slides onto a stool next to her.]

[Allison purses her lips but takes her drink back, sipping from it.]

What, like some jerk's bed?

[She's not too drunk to see what you're doing, Liz. But she finds herself blushing because talking about sex with Elizabeth feels weird.

She'll blame the flush on the alcohol.]
