I think something was delivered to me by mistake. [ He angles the camera so the fuzzy little bonsai tree in front of him is clearly visible. The leaves are covered in fur, it's actually sort of cute but... That tiny meowing sound? That's coming from the tree.

More specifically, from the little seed pods that contain live kittens. ]

If it belongs to anyone, I'll be happy to return it. [ Said mildly. He doesn't know yet if this is an alien species or something more deliberate, but he's trying very hard to give it the benefit of a doubt here. ]

In the meantime... Does anyone know what this is, exactly? Or how to take care of it?

Well... [ Was that supposed to be subtle? ] The video transmission isn't coming through to you, so either your MID is broken or you have a very ironic sense of humor.

I doubt I'd have said anything different if you were standing in front of me so that should give you your answer.

They really should make these things more accessible. Have you spoken to the Captains about it?

The best they can do is implement a screen reader. I imagine describing what's on a video would be a lot harder and I can't exactly expect everyone to describe what they're doing solely for my benefit.

It wouldn't be solely for your benefit. Considering the very wide variety of people here, not everyone is going to rely heavily on sight.

[ It seems like a basic consideration - he feels a little bad for not thinking of it before. Clark rubs the side of his neck. ] Obviously it's up to you. Maybe I'm making too big a deal out of it.

I wouldn't say no if you offered. It might have saved me from wondering how to explain what cats were.
