So, how about, when we're assigned to our positions, we fill out a form or something where we can say, oh, I don't know, "yes, I'd like to work with anyone but THAT ONE PERSON"?

 

Because as much as I appreciate being recognized for some of the best of my many skills, and the work itself has been just lovely, they seem to have really messed up on the coworker front and it's been driving me mad. How am I supposed to work under these conditions? Not that I claim to be any stranger to being angry but this is getting to be too much.

[A heavy, dramatic sigh.]

Maybe you should just put your differences aside and treat each other like any other soldier.

[Big Boss was never thrilled about the unauthorized existence of his sons, but he at least allowed them to become their own men. Unfortunately, just the act of being Snake's sons ended up dictating their lives anyway.]

[Ocelot knows a little bit about being the child of a legend. It didn't come with quite as much baggage as Liquid's lineage did, but it still presented plenty of problems for Ocelot now and again.]

Yes, I remember. I also remember you were ten years old at the time.

Well it's not something you bloody grow out of, alright?

Depends on the person.

[Ocelot didn't have an ideal childhood either, but he didn't go out trying to kill people for it. Granted, many of them ended up dead anyway, but that was more of a bonus.]

But if it helps, I'll come by whenever I can and occupy him.
