So, how about, when we're assigned to our positions, we fill out a form or something where we can say, oh, I don't know, "yes, I'd like to work with anyone but THAT ONE PERSON"?

 

Because as much as I appreciate being recognized for some of the best of my many skills, and the work itself has been just lovely, they seem to have really messed up on the coworker front and it's been driving me mad. How am I supposed to work under these conditions? Not that I claim to be any stranger to being angry but this is getting to be too much.

[A heavy, dramatic sigh.]

None of us have any choice in what we're given to do by the captains or who we work with. [Because Venom didn't really care about that. He just wanted Liquid to calm down.]

[Liquid has indeed been to the cafe, because he likes himself a chocolatey drink every now and then. He isn't the type to start doubting a kid's skill, either; as the once leader of a group of child soldiers, he knows not to underestimate kids.]

seems like a good position though, if it does highlight some of your best skills. of the fact that you can identify it from the get go. I'm still trying to figure out what they meant for me to do.

Advanced weapons, clearly. Although that is the thing that really should come with a bit more direction. How advanced? Where do they divide between basic and advanced? Are you the 'ideas guy,' or are you meant to build things?

maybe they expect me to do both. it's no use if i don't even know what sort of target i'm suppose to be defending against. a couple of weeks in and all i've gotten is that we as a crew are a disaster; nevermind creating weapons, all i'd need is to suggest a trasnporter and we'll just 'accidentally' destroy any enemy we come across.
