[It’s been a tense week of disguises, stealth, and unsuccessful network hacking attempts, but as the days continue to pass without incident, Zam is beginning to think all of this was a false alarm. Yes, the Jedi from Coruscant are on the ship, possibly along with the senator, but for whatever reason, the Ingress seems to have forgotten about Jango. Neither his name nor his face have appeared on the directory, which means he either isn’t here or he never got his MID. Never hurts to double-check though, and since he won’t be checking the network in either of those situations...]

Just so we’re clear, no one’s seen a human male in blue and silver armor among the newcomers, have they? If you do, you should let me know. Immediately.

Also, to the two or three people now on the ship who are acquainted with me from back home: we’re all in the same situation here -- I don’t want to be here, you don’t want to be here, and I also don’t want you to be here. Let’s not make a bad situation worse by digging up past disputes.

Speaking of which, has anybody figured out how to change your display name on this kriffing thing?

[Exceptional job hiding, Zam, except for one thing. He hadn't even been aware of this until right now. Even if he had, he might have been willing to let it go: from what he knows, she's dead. The threat on his wife's the senator's life had been taken care of.

But once it's back in the open...well. Once he recognizes that name, he can't help put push it.]

The post-death part, however, is strange to consider, leaves the seeds of ideas he probably shouldn't have, but ultimately, he doesn't feel like the information's going to do too much harm. After all, back home, what's she going to do with it?]

Still, it’s more accurate than giving a description, so she toggles the video setting on her MID. Peter will see Zam’s face, and then… It changes, skin darkening as bones shift and warp underneath, scars etching themselves where they hadn’t been before. Jango’s is a familiar face, so it only takes a handful of seconds for Zam to match it almost perfectly.]

Jango, Fett, or any combination of the two. Though he'd probably turn around if you just shouted "bounty hunter" in his general direction.

[Fett and bounty hunter are three words she doesn't like hearing that close to each other. Jango means nothing to her, but the rest seems too coincidental to be strict coincidence.]

If I see anyone who matches that description, I'll try it.

Were there many bounty hunters called Fett where you came from? I don't want to find you the wrong one.

I’d actually recommend you don’t. He’s not the type to enjoy casual conversation with strangers.

[The question gets a puzzled read and re-read from Zam as she tries to work out the meaning. More bounty hunters named Fett? Surely she’s pulling Zam’s leg.] There’s just one as far as I know. Stars know that’s already enough to deal with.

[She’s more than a little wary when she sees the encrypted textfile in her inbox, even moreso when she sees who it’s from. Thanks to the little incident with the drugged desserts, Rinzler likely knows the most out of anyone on the ship about the circumstances only addressed vaguely in her network post, which means if anyone knows how to turn this situation against her, it would be him.

Which means it comes as quite a surprise when she does decrypt the file and actually reads the message within.]

You checked the ship’s camera logs? How did you manage that?

[Zam’s honestly rather bewildered by this. As she sees it, Rinzler has more reason to work against her than with her: she’s friends with his double, she had taunted him while he was captive, and she’s a “trojan” by his own words. So the fact that he’d seek out help for some cooperative sleuthing on her behalf is unexpected to say the least.]
