Hello, and welcome.

As I know you are beginning to feel the effects of Ingress travel, I will keep this brief and to the point. By now, most of you are aware that this is not your home, and if you are not, I would like to stress the importance of this fact. All details have been outlined to you in the contract each of you has already signed, and I hope you will come to know the Moira as your second home as we journey forward. Everyone must do their part for this voyage to succeed. Those who do not wish to follow this straightforward rule shall be dealt with accordingly.

Please direct any questions or concerns to either myself or one of the other captains. We are as interested in going home as you are.

[ The bottom of the message is simply signed Cúrre. ]

[Ugh, texts. He's used to talking over devices, but texting takes time. This feels distant. Cautious, maybe.]

Where are we headed exactly? You have a plan for us?

[How much of a mistake is all of this? He's taking it in with a bit of reluctance.]

Lost my gun.

[Priorities.]

The planet the Moira originates from. Ingress technology is unpredictable, and after such a large wave of people have come through all at once, we are absolutely certain that they will be better equipped to handle this situation. They are most familiar with how the Ingress on this ship functions.

[A short break in texts.]

We've tried, unsuccessfully, to send people back through it. They will be able to help, we just have to get back to them.

We've been hearing that a lot, what sort of gun was it?

[So they have a destination. That part is good, but Leon doesn't know a thing about space travel or the area to figure out what to expect.]

How far away is this planet?Do you guys know how long it'll take? Do we have the supplies for it?

[He's cautious. There have been missions where he was sent out and ended up wandering around, lost and down to bare supplies. It's not something he wants to do in the middle of space. Space to him looks like nowhere.]

Guess your door needs fixed.

It's a black 9mm pistol. It has a red laser attached to the barrel. Do you usually lose things in transport?

The length of our journey largely depends upon how well we all work together and if we're all doing our jobs. If we function as a team, the trip will be shorter, but we will let the crew know as a whole when we are approaching our destination.

The Ingress does require attention.

It is unpredictable, and things have been on a person prior to coming through the Ingress, that aren't on them when they exit. They have been known to show up later.

That's not really an answer. How long does it usually take? Where is it?

[The answers are all suspicious, leaving Leon feeling edgy. It's probably a good thing the other people can't see the face he's giving his MID as he reads the responses.]

You should shut it down. Keep it off until someone else can look at it.

I apologize, but I cannot give a specific answer. Not in exact time. It isn't an often traveled route, and we didn't record our journey from there to here.

[Two hours later.]

The Ingress and the ship are intricately woven together. It cannot be shut down.
