[ Every MID recieves this message as soon as an individual leaves the medbay. ]
[ The bottom of the message is simply signed Cúrre. ]
Hello, and welcome.
As I know you are beginning to feel the effects of Ingress travel, I will keep this brief and to the point. By now, most of you are aware that this is not your home, and if you are not, I would like to stress the importance of this fact. All details have been outlined to you in the contract each of you has already signed, and I hope you will come to know the Moira as your second home as we journey forward. Everyone must do their part for this voyage to succeed. Those who do not wish to follow this straightforward rule shall be dealt with accordingly.
Please direct any questions or concerns to either myself or one of the other captains. We are as interested in going home as you are.

Yes, hello, I've a concern. I think there's been a mistake in my job assignment. I don't have any training in waste disposal. I've got plenty of military experience, though -- there should be some job relevant to that experience I could be doing instead.
[ he swears this is lakowski base all over again. ]

I think I'm still a little hazy on the details of how exactly we got here. The portals, I know but...well maybe I'm just a little hazy on why. I don't mind helping, of course, but...I'd really like to know as much as possible.
audio;
But, as far as we know, it was an accident, and we all have to help each other so we can go home.

[Bigger question.]
When do you think this ship will get where it's going?
I am very tired of contracts and life-controlling jewelry.
And can I get a job with driving equipment? I am not good for what you ask of me.
audio;
What sort of equipment can you drive?

Hold Workforce Officer Adama, reporting. I have a concern about safety and security implementation. I noticed my gun is missing, since arrival. What are my orders regarding keeping the peace in case of an emergency or breakout in the hold?

I think there might have been a mistake: I'm a mechanical engineer, not a nurse. No bedside manner to speak of. If you're trying to play to my strengths, here, you'd be better off putting me around engines and not sick people.

I will endeavor to perform my duties as assigned. Communications has never been my primary function, but I will adapt.
Although, as for the rest, I have never had any experience at all with User food preparation, I must warn you.
Also, is it possible that my gridsuit will be returned to me? Having my circuits exposed is... uncomfortable.

But, no time to wallow. When in doubt; hit the ground running. ]
Acknowledged.
Is there a data file or Medbay personnel I can access, to get more information on the MID and any life support or life report functions it serves? As well as a run down of equipment, ready supplies and standard operating procedures both ship side and planet side?
no subject
Basic procedures are present in the OR. If you do not find them satisfactory, we can discuss them at length. Your job is important to the health and care of the crew, and certain allowances will be made.

Dealt with accordingly. Ominous.
Any ETA on that going home part? I've got an entire planet to protect. The job doesn't come with paid time off for extradimensional vacations.
[There's a pause between texts.]
Second. Is this MID going to explode in my face if I make some modifications? Form, not function. No offense, but it'll get in my way as-is. [He's got a robot arm. What good is a robot arm if you can't possibly build your communication device right into your wrist?]
no subject
Modifications for an alternate MID are underway. If requested, it can be replaced. Changing it on your own will only damage its functions.

Where are we headed exactly? You have a plan for us?
[How much of a mistake is all of this? He's taking it in with a bit of reluctance.]
Lost my gun.

[A short break in texts.]
We've tried, unsuccessfully, to send people back through it. They will be able to help, we just have to get back to them.
We've been hearing that a lot, what sort of gun was it?

( she at least wants to know, damn it. rannoch had been a victory, but shepard knows that their luck can only hold for so long against the reapers. she has to get home, and during the period that she can't be home, she'll be damned if she doesn't at least try to know what's going on. )

Okay, this has been bugging me. Ship this size? I can imagine it takes a lot of maintenance to keep things running smoothly. That's all fine and dandy, but what I want to know is who did it before us? You're away from home. Surely it wasn't just the four of you. That would be one heck of an itinerary. What happened to her old crew?
I'm not gonna change my mind about this intergalactic multi-dimensional vacation cruise, but I kinda like to be prepared if something dreadful is possibly in our future. History repeating and all.

If this is a complaint, it must be submitted formally, Crewman Stark.
