[On the 17th, Captain Thán sends out a text message addressing all Moirans.]

The environment on the ship has been extremely hostile, more than what's typical for us, and that has to stop. The punishment system was put into play to discourage these kinds of actions, but there have been more after its installation.

This means that things are going to change, beginning with the treatment of other crew members.

As your captains, we don't wish to force anyone to do anything, and we'd prefer that everyone learn to live and work together to achieve our common goal, but that idle behavior we've adopted is now over. All of us are extremely displeased.

We're going to start with reworking the punishment system. This will mean the creation of new positions (arresting officers, mediation officers, etc.), and the implementation of new rules.

Please state your suggestions, thoughts, and offer yourself as candidates for the new roles.

[Messages will come from all the captains.]

[ A message comes up on every crew member's MID with the word U R G E N T flashing in a bold red, followed by a live video message from Manasseh. ]

Crew of the Moira, this is Navigator Manasseh. I urge all crew who have been traveling the halls alone to please cease this and only venture out in groups of two or more for your own safety. The crisis on board is more than an issue of power or mechanical malfunction. It is one that is a threat to every being aboard the ship at this time.

Crewmember Farin has fallen victim to whatever is sabotaging the ship and is, at this moment, dead. I found her body in the halls covered in markings similar to those found upon Captain Tipota’s body. [ Her voice remains steady and calm even as the lights in the video flicker around her. ] I cannot tell for certain if the culprit has a sentient level of intelligence or not but it would be wise to proceed with caution.

Those of you armed with weapons, please keep them at hand. Those who are noncombatants should stay close to those who are armed for their own safety and under no circumstances should anyone go anywhere alone. Until then-

[ The lights flicker again and then without any ceremony go out, leaving Mana's face illuminated by only the glow of her MID screen. She looks around carefully, perhaps belatedly realizing that in her haste to speak with the crew she has ignored her own warnings to not be alone. The lights flicker again and for just a moment there is a figure behind her. Then the feed goes entirely black. There is a muffled thump before it ends entirely. ]

[ooc: comments can be made to this but due to obvious reasons there will be no reply from the Navigator. ]

⚍⚍ INCOMING TRANSMISSION ⚎⚎

[The feed begins abruptly. All crew members' MIDs flash red text across the screen, a high pitched alert sound erupting from the device. A man with tanned skin and white hair addresses the Moira as a whole.]

It has come to our attention that your ship has visited our planet once before. That your crew, though less in size than it is now, removed priceless glass works and various supplies without payment or any sort of agreement.

You are not welcome here any longer! [His face is flushed a deep crimson. They don't abide rule breaking or stealing.] Your crew has four days to be off Caducus Primary.

[Which was kinder than they deserved, but it was their way. The man doesn't give his name but he exudes authority and anger. He is displeased and disgruntled.]

Do you understand?

⚍⚍ END TRANSMISSION ⚎⚎

[ ooc: feel free to address the representative from Caducus Primary. he'll answer inquiries as he sees fit and with a noticeable amount of misplaced disdain and anger.]

[ Every MID recieves this message as soon as an individual leaves the medbay. ]
Hello, and welcome.

As I know you are beginning to feel the effects of Ingress travel, I will keep this brief and to the point. By now, most of you are aware that this is not your home, and if you are not, I would like to stress the importance of this fact. All details have been outlined to you in the contract each of you has already signed, and I hope you will come to know the Moira as your second home as we journey forward. Everyone must do their part for this voyage to succeed. Those who do not wish to follow this straightforward rule shall be dealt with accordingly.

Please direct any questions or concerns to either myself or one of the other captains. We are as interested in going home as you are.

[ The bottom of the message is simply signed Cúrre. ]
