[Now that the fun of her "prize" for completing the trial is behind her, Clara's ready to focus on things that are important. Like work. The need to be constantly doing something and making herself useful keeps her going, and now that she's started her history project and her maps she figures she can take on one other task.

The only problem is, she's not really sure how this task will go over with the general public. Especially one particular subset of said public. So when she speaks, she looks a little unsure.]

Right, so, schooling. Figure we've all been here long enough now to establish something for the children. Or anyone else that wants to learn, I suppose. I taught seventh year English back in London, but am able to work with just about any level and subject matter.

[She pauses and her head tips to the side, fully expecting to be able to hear the collective screams of all the kids that are around. Her eyes glance away for a second, and when she looks back she's grinning. Surely she can get the kids on board with getting an education.]

Before, back on the Moira, I remember there being something similar in place. Anyone that'd like to assist with getting lessons up and going as soon as possible? Speak up so we can arrange a meeting. Doctor? I'd say you have a choice about helping, but 'fraid I won't go that far. You're already on my list.

I was the one in charge of the school on the Moira but Charles Xavier took that role over when we ended up on Thisavrou. You'd have to ask him about whether he has any materials here or anything.

Honestly, it depends on how my teaching style would mesh in a school setting here. I don't know a lot about academic subjects. I feel like I was pretty good at teaching the kids in creative ways when I was in charge, but I ended up doing a lot of survival training, how to repair things, how to shoot—practical things that seemed more important at the time when we didn't know what we were getting into as we searched for Thisavrou. And it did turn out to come in handy for those kids, because we ended up in the Midway Hub, which was pretty barren. But here?

[ She doesn't complete her thought, which is that if this person and Xavier are the ones who are going to be in charge, her methods may not be wanted. They're academics, after all. Tex definitely is not. ]

I was, I was set to be his physics teacher, but that didn't exactly pan out.

I was planning to give the young people opportunities to learn skills in the workshop.
Although I'm not sure if that fits into the school you're planning in any capacity. If anybody would like to take on the responsibility teaching those skills, they are more than welcome.

I see you've already been informed about Charles but they aren't wrong. He's been trying to get a regular school program up and running since we got here.

A few things have been set up but teachers and supplies are the two big things needed the most.

If he doesn't reach out to me upon seeing this, I'm definitely getting in touch with him soon. Setting up a school is a tremendous task, and I'd like to help with as many aspects as possible. Supplies pose a difficulty, but I know that even with a lack of them offering children the experiential side of learning can leave lasting impressions.

[ Clara's intial post is, on its own, enough of a flag. Seemingly innocuous enough, and mirrors plenty of his own sentiments. But it isn't until he sees the response that he's...well, surprised. The school--beyond the building--seemed to have been victim to all too many strange preventing circumstances. A series of unfortunate events that has left him both determined and more than a little dismayed at how constantly frustrated the project seems to be.

As a result, he's perfectly amiable as he turns the feed on, if not just a little caught up in the relief of it. He isn't doing this alone, thank god. ]

The sentiment is not incorrect, of course, though perhaps a little overly positive, given Thisavrou's series of rather spectacular implosions. You taught in London?

It seems that people value what you've done in trying to establish a proper school, Charles.

I taught at Coal Hill School in London. Seventh year students, though I also took the fifth through eighth years to karate every Monday and ran the astronomy club. Where is it you're from?

[There's not a chance Clara's letting her escape without helping somehow. So it's nice to have someone so willing right from the start. It's a lot less work she'll have to do that way.]
