So, space. The Final Frontier. Astonishing.
Also unexpected. I take it none of us signed up for this though so I won't bitch. Much.
Anyway, I have a series of questions not ranked by importance:
1. Where are the aliens? The gross tentacley ones from tv.
2. Are WE the aliens here? Gasp. The turn around.
3. Capri Sun? Tang? Tab? Any of these available?
This isn't a Soylent Green kinda place right? Lie to me if you have to. Thx.

[He pulls the pack out of his side pocket, showing them off to the camera; not smushed, surprisingly.] But if you're suuuure.

[ But he does have a point. And seeing the cupcakes not smushed is so tempting.... Anything is after those stupid cubes. ]
...are they even good? How long have they been in your jacket?

You're insulting me, my cupcakes and one of my favorite drinks? I'm stumbling back here, Jean. You're wounding me with mortal blows and that's terrible. You're killing me here. And worse yet, making me not want to share.

Even when she can manage to speak, she's still struggling not to laugh, ]
I didn't know you were such a sensitive guy...

Anyway, you want any of this or no? Offer rescinded if you're just gonna keep bashing me, my snacks and all the things I hold near and dear to my heart. But good luck finding another of these babies around these parts.
omg i thought i had responded to this
dw she was yelling at him so it's cool
the calm before the storm cries
[ Huffs. ]
Library.

It can be interpreted in many ways. Technically I am giving you both.
no subject
Fine, whatever. Just give me one already. I'm hungry and tired of these stupid blue cubes.
[ You're not the only one that likes junk food, Peter. ]

Any good reads?
no subject
A few. There's a bunch I can't read because they are in different languages.
no subject
He just sort of appears.] It took me two tries to get to the right place but uh, any recommendations? Been a while since I got to check books out.
no subject
You like to read?
no subject
Oh, Peter. That illiterate fool!
no subject
No. I know you're smart, Peter. Even if you don't want to act like it.
[ A fast mind will often get bored with things that challenge others. It's not a large leap to make. ]
I just never thought you had the patience for it.
no subject
It's one of those things I can do at whatever speed I want, unlike... Unlike waiting in line at the supermarket? That's something I don't have patience for. The only downside is that if I read fast? I read fast. And writers... they don't write fast. So I try not to speed-read the good books, just to draw it out a little.
[He shrugs, pulling the promised package of cupcakes out his pocket and flicking them her way.]

Glad to hear you finally admit it. I knew you were actually a dork, too.
[ She stops the cakes mentally and has them float over to her the rest of the way. After grabbing them from the air, she opens the plastic wrap. She takes one out and sends it floating his way. ]
And thank you for sharing.
no subject
Thank you for sharing, birthday girl. Am I supposed to sing? I can sing you the song. Don't think I won't? Haaaaappy birthday, to you...
no subject
No, stop. If you're going to sing, give me some Stevie Nicks or something.
no subject
Oooh, baby, ooh - ooooh. [It's terribly exaggerated, with a wink for flavor before he stuffs his mouth with another bite of cake, chin tipped back.]
no subject
You know what? I'm so happy to have this delicious cupcake, I'll allow the butchering of that song.
[ Another dainty bite taken. ]
no subject
You said you'd allow the butchering.] Like a strand. In the wind. In the web that is my own, I begiiiinnn agaiiiin.
[He dissolves into an air guitar solo instead of continuing. You're welcome.] Happy double birthday, Jay Grey.
no subject
She makes like she's trying to swat at him but can't reach so she just waits until she can get the words out to say, breathlessly, ]
Thanks, Silver guy.
no subject
Jay Grey and the Silver Guy, it's like a band in the making. How good are you at air piano? We go could go places, Jeanie. I'm tellin' ya.
