She's levitating her device by way of creative use of her mutant powers, so at least people aren't getting an extreme close up of her face.]

Sooo, I guess I'm doing the multiverse and-slash-or space thing again. Cool. I mean, new places and worlds are kind of par for the course for me at this point, so I'm more fascinated than disturbed -- at least for the moment. I'll see how this shakes out.

[A beat. She is super chill right now.]

Anyway -- name's Lorna Dane, AKA Polaris, also on and off member of teams of the likes of X-Men and X-Factor.

[She says all of that in hopes that someone here will know at least one of those names. If not, oh...well?]

I've been poking around and seeing what I can, but if anyone wants to tell the newbie here the less obvious do-'s and dont'-s' of this place, I would be much obliged before I make a dumbass out of myself.

I've heard of the X-Men. [Which is kind of a can of worms on its own, but that's beside the point.] They have a mansion on Kauto.

[yep that sure is the name Wanda Maximoff popping up on her contact list. Of course, this Wanda is way younger than the one Lorna knows -- and if Wanda knew Lorna she probably would have said something right away -- but Lorna's expression brightens a bit more anyway.]

Wait really, the whole mansion? [nice.] I now don't know if anyone would know me there -- [since, uh, it's now confirmed that there is at least one younger version here of someone Lorna knew] -- but I guess I can check.

Got it in one try. [As if it was hard to figure out. It was easy -- because yeah, she mentioned the team.] My powers are based in the manipulation of metal and magnetism. [ha. ha ha. ha ha ha. ha ha ha HA AHAH. (Look, she already told Wanda they're related in her [Lorna's] universe.) ]

[The smile is quickly wiped from his face. Metal manipulation. That shouldn't be so familiar.

But maybe it's just a coincidence? Metal powers might be as common as psychics for all he knows.]

Yyyyyyyyyyyyep, sure do. As far as I know, in my version of the multiverse, I'm his youngest living child. [but who the hell knows with him, really.] Making me the half-sister of Wanda and Pietro. Which the Wanda here already knows. ['cause she just told her. Also, she doesn't know there are two Wandas' here, but Peter can easily enough figure out which of the Wandas' that is.]

Those who have some connection to him usually are, so long as where they are is "somewhere he is not."
