[The woman on this video transmission has green hair everywhere -- on the top of her head, her eyebrows, her eyelashes -- and green eyes to match. She's wearing all green, too; in addition, her lips are green -- but that's just because she has green lipstick on, not because her lips are naturally green.
She's levitating her device by way of creative use of her mutant powers, so at least people aren't getting an extreme close up of her face.]
Sooo, I guess I'm doing the multiverse and-slash-or space thing again. Cool. I mean, new places and worlds are kind of par for the course for me at this point, so I'm more fascinated than disturbed -- at least for the moment. I'll see how this shakes out.
[A beat. She is super chill right now.]
Anyway -- name's Lorna Dane, AKA Polaris, also on and off member of teams of the likes of X-Men and X-Factor.
[She says all of that in hopes that someone here will know at least one of those names. If not, oh...well?]
I've been poking around and seeing what I can, but if anyone wants to tell the newbie here the less obvious do-'s and dont'-s' of this place, I would be much obliged before I make a dumbass out of myself.
[Or, you know, people can start taking bets on how long it is before she gets in trouble, some way, some how.]

[It doesn't take Wanda long after arriving at the Ingress Complex to realize looking for someone she has no psychic knowledge of is going to be trickier than she's used to. It's not like meeting Nat for coffee or finding Peter in a crowd.
Thankfully Lorna is very green and easy to spot. Wanda gives a small wave and trots over, trying to hide the sudden bout of nerves.]
Sorry. I hope you weren't waiting too long.

Without a Magneto-like helmet, Lorna has no psychic defenses. After a million and one encounters with mental possessions/brainwashings, any ability she had before to form mental shields without said type of helmet has been pretty well broken down. Telepaths would find that her mind is chaotic, and on a surface level, she has absolutely zero concept of using her inside mental 'voice'. Anyone with an ability to sense auras and such from other people would probably feel her magnetic aura.
She isn't used to mind-reading powers from Wanda, though -- just the magic. Which, the magic is a complicated issue with the Wanda back home. As complicated as the family itself also is, Lorna does love her siblings, but that doesn't stop her from still being upset over M-Day from that Wanda; not in a 'I hate you and I'm never talking to you again' way, but in a 'here's a reminder to not fuck up like that again' way. That was one of the times she lost her powers. However, this Wanda is much younger and hopefully hasn't had the experience of causing a massive tragedy, because she understands it's probably hard on that end too. If anyone thinks she is not going to be at least subtly big sister-ing all over Wanda and Peter here, they are thinking wrong (does it count as big sister-ing when she's two or thee years younger than they are in her world, but at least ten years older than they are here???). As long as they can avoid a lot of the tragedies of their other, older, selves, she'll call it a win.]
Nope, not at all. [She smiles at Wanda, finally pocketing her device.] I killed time by talking with a few other people too, anyway.

She's also never heard of M-Day, despite having spent months around people from Lorna's version of their world. Everyone's come to the separate conclusion that there's no point in making Wanda feel guilty over something she didn't (and can't) do. Things are better now, but her powers still frighten her sometimes as it is, not to mention all the guilt she already carries from what happened in Novi Grad.]
Are you hungry? We can get food before we take the EN-line to Kauto.

...Do they have tacos here? I am perfectly capable of eating my weight in tacos.
[Said the Californian, spoiled by the best tacos back home.]

[She's heard of tacos, of course. There just wasn't much of a market for them in Novi Grad.]
We can walk around, see what we find.

[Wanda laughs. Lorna's already starting to remind her of Peter and Twinkies. He'd been similarly shocked that she'd never had one.]
The ingredients might look a little strange, but I think we can find something.

[The only question in her tone being from either: Wanda could have been living somewhere else between there and the US, or, that southeastern-ish European country country doesn't even exist in Wanda's world.
Tacos and Twinkies are good experiences. Maybe loaded up on extra stuff that isn't 100% healthy (more so for the Twinkies), but worth it. Even if they are going to be weird space tacos.]

[She's never heard of Transia before, but the first time she mentioned Sokovia to Peter or Billy she was only met with blank stares.
But really, there are at least 4 versions of their worlds here, so who knows? Surely Sokovia isn't unique to hers if mutants and the Avengers aren't necessarily a given either.]

Is Transia?

You will have time now. We should take you to Aueia someday.

Should I be looking for scuba diving equipment?

[Especially since Wanda doesn't really know how to ask them. She can understand them, but projecting her thoughts to beings without telepathic abilities of their own isn't something she's been working on.]
It is still a nice view from the mountains.
