[ Everybody settling in alright? Or at least, as well as can be expected?

Everybody enjoy their cherry tasting legumes?

Adrien had intended to send this out as a text, but he was still getting used to the new TABs and upon realizing his mistake, couldn't be arsed to change it. The doctor usually looks harried, it might have something to do with his perpetual scowl, but he's looking particularly yanked through a knothole backwards at the moment.

All the way down to the fact that he's obviously showered and made an attempt to trim his beard, only to wind up cutting himself. Please ignore the tell tale little dots of paper stuck to his face at the moment. The blade was dull, okay?! ]

It dawned on me, as these things do when one is slicing their face open with a razor, a question that probably should have been asked a week or so ago.

Those of you in the crew, who are capable of, or posses magical abilities and of a temperament to help, would you have a spell or a ... [ here he gestures with his hands, he's not trying to be offensive, magic is just not something his world has ever been exposed too and he's only aware that it can be vary from person to person. ] ... that would purify water?

Thinking if that ability exists, we might give it a try on those purple streams and see if we can remove some of the nasty side-effects and restock our supplies.

[ It's getting to be quite the extensive collection, though by no means uniform. All manner of containers are being dug out; it would be easy enough to put them back in the pacdisc if this proved futile.

As he heard that whirring rumble, he turned to glance back over his shoulder. ]

Hey. You made good time.

[The array draws a slightly curious inspection; Rinzler's fairly sure all of those can't be required for the test. The program glances back to Adrien at the comment, but doesn't answer. He always makes good time.

One hand comes up, offering the water canteen as Rinzler's mask tips a little to the side. Analysis, get?]

[ Maybe not every single container. Just a few, to see if there is any variation from size. If it all tested out, well ... the rest were just to be filled.

Reaching to take the canteen, Adrien nodded and turned to carefully set it on the makeshift work counter. He had a few more instruments to tug out of various crates. ]

You can stay and watch, if you wish? [ If Rinzler wanted to make sure he didn't lose sight of the previous canteen. ]

[As one of the few beings present who doesn't have any real need for water, Rinzler's not overly concerned about it. Still, the data could be useful. He nods, stepping forward and to the side—almost a guard position, if an unobtrusive one.]

[ Seeing that Rinzler appeared to be settling in to stick around, Adrien made note of his presence but otherwise set himself to his work.

He was quiet as he worked, meticulous in the way he ran tests. If Rinzler was watching closely, he might notice moments where the doctor ran into a roadblock in the form of a piece of equipment not being available. When this happened, he took a moment, plotting out a course change and just ... adapted.

While he worked, Rinzler might notice something else. A certain murder cat who also waited patiently but after awhile, stood up and walked over to the program. Sitting right in front of Rinzler, Courser folded his tail primly over his paws and gave an all mighty yawn, showing off teeth. ]
