Voice
[His voice is a little shaky to start off, he's not that used to using the MID and he's still nervous talking to potential crowds. Addressing (potential) crowds is All Might's thing, not Izuku's.]
Hello, um- My name is Midoriya Izuku, I also go by Deku. I'm one of the personal defense specialists. [He says it, but he sounds a bit unsure, like he doesn't know if they picked the right guy for this job.]
I'm- I was in the hero course at U.A. High before I ended up here. [Now he sounds more confident.] I'm a hero in training.
As for personal defense, I focus on hand to hand. I have a pretty good range I can teach, I think. If you want to learn the basics, or somebody to spar with I can help with that. Or if you want scenarios to test yourself with I'll help create them for you.
Please let me know if you need anything. I'll be in the training simulation room.
Uh... Thank you for your time!

Alright. It's dangerous and for higher risk simulations I should advise them to bring somebody with medical skills with them. That's good to know.
Really? I think that's probably what I'd prefer too. I'd feel better if I had the option to help.

It helps to do better if someone acknowledges all of someone's hard work. Improving yourself even a little bit is never easy. Even harder if you're stuck in your ways.
[Though Kaz has resisted being as relentless here. He's Master Miller for a reason.]

That's what Aizawa-sensei does for us, so it makes sense that it would work for most people.
[Even if Aizawa is likely to trick them into it, he's still a good teacher and there's a lot he can learn from that.]

Give them something worth fighting for.
What else does he do that you think you can use?
no subject
He ran a bunch of challenges to test our abilities first, so we knew where our strengths were. After any training we did, he'd review it with us and mention the stuff we needed to improve on and what we did well.

Thing is, how good are you at looking for weaknesses in other's performances?
[Which is always the hard part. It's easy to push, easy to be impressed, and any skilled fighter can find holes in a style. But with some it's harder than others, requires a little more raw demonstration.]

I can usually find weakness when I'm against them, or fighting with them.
[He hasn't gotten that many opportunities to just sit on the sidelines and evaluate people.]

But some people might not want to fight someone as young as you. Still might need some outside help.
no subject
That's fine.
It'll be good practice to learn weaknesses when I'm not in the fight. Still, that could take a while to develop properly... Especially depending on how they fight, I'm used to quirks- or powers- and hand to hand. I wouldn't be very useful to somebody who wanted to learn how to shoot or use weapons...
[The mumbling will continue until Kaz interrupts him.]

They're pretty young too, in fact.
no subject
Um... who are they? I figure I should meet my... co-workers?

[He actually really wants people to communicate with each other. It's the best way to train people.]
