I'm not sure there's a good way to start this. My name is Charles Xavier, I'm the ships newest Interpersonal Relationships Officer. [Joy.] Any others with the same job, I would appreciate being able to speak with you so we're on the same page.

[Introductions out of the way, his expression turns a little more serious.]

Aside from that, I'd like to speak to anyone that might be able to... replicate a serum. The details are something I would prefer to discuss in private but it's important to me that I find someone.

Actually, I'm not entirely sure, it looks and smells like wine. I haven't dared try it yet but if you're offering company, we can always try it together. That way we can't do anything too stupid if it gets us drunk.

[He can sort of understand that. Charles is trying to keep busy, kind of, so he doesn't think about what's going on back home.]

I'm forty-one, now. I got my Ph.D about ten years ago.

Look at you, with a Ph. D.

[There's a pause, and then she gets to her point.]

I watch after someone that's over a thousand years old. I think I can handle you, even with a lot of practice drinking.
