The environment on the ship has been extremely hostile, more than what's typical for us, and that has to stop. The punishment system was put into play to discourage these kinds of actions, but there have been more after its installation.

This means that things are going to change, beginning with the treatment of other crew members.

As your captains, we don't wish to force anyone to do anything, and we'd prefer that everyone learn to live and work together to achieve our common goal, but that idle behavior we've adopted is now over. All of us are extremely displeased.

We're going to start with reworking the punishment system. This will mean the creation of new positions (arresting officers, mediation officers, etc.), and the implementation of new rules.

Please state your suggestions, thoughts, and offer yourself as candidates for the new roles.

I understand that there are power discrepancies and it's hard to trust that crew will do what's right, but we can't stay idle and let everyone hurt each other.

Your suggestion for punishments is noted.

What I don't understand is how that can be any clearer. Crew are not allowed to kill. Fighting is inevitable, but everyone needs to keep themselves in check. Bullying won't be tolerated.

We have to all work together to make this happen.

You know... when I came on board, I became very angry after Cadacus Primary. I flipped a table, literally. Furious. And I went to the hold to calm down.

Maybe that should happen to a few other people.

It's not a lot but ah.... a lot of these things that happened built up from smaller things.

Not for getting mad really. Everyone has a good shit fit every once in a while. You get upset enough to wreck some shit or someone's face? Then someone maybe needs an ice cream and a breather.

Remember, this is not just about Rinzler. Many of these acts have been done by children. Teenagers. Children that go to jail, that are locked away, never grow up well. And these trials, they are not held with completely honest information given. I've seen how it fucks up people's heads.

Rinzler is asshole that runs his mouth. But he's not human and I think part of what is wrong with him is that he has been locked away and made to fight for a very long time, not that he is programmed a killer. Yeah, some are adults. But a lot of your crew is very young. And I do not wish to see them locked away.

But he is right too. Security suite with curfew for a while? Maybe not a bad idea.

We know it isn't just about Rinzler. The problem began a while back. When creating the new system, we will keep in mind that there are children and teenagers, but we will not separate others based on species.

Crew are already trying to draw a line, and we don't agree with it. Everyone will be treated fairly, no matter what they are.

We will, however, be taking a different approach to preventive measures.

I have to admit. If there were certain people that came on board? I would need to be kept in the hold myself to keep from ending them.

What sort of system did the ship used to have? Back when there was more crew?

That's not a question I can answer. When we came on the ship, it was only us. The captains. We didn't need a system for ourselves.

Were you captains or something similar before you found this ship?

No, unfortunately we were not. I worked in something similar to what you might call politics, and Curre studied medicine.

I am starting to think you guys should look into business leadership models or something. I know people try to do military here, but we got a lot of trading and shit to do.
