[text] For general discussion (forward-dated a little)
A few questions:
What do you wish you had been told when you were new to the Moira?
Relatedly, what do you think it's important for people who are new to the ship to know?
Any answer you can think of is a valid one, although responses from people who have been here longer than most are especially welcome.

[Actually, he would have liked a complete history of the ship and its exploits up until this point, and a dossier on every person present here complete with threat assessment. But failing that: bathroom locations.]

I can't disagree with you. The planets don't always come with those sort of instructions, either. I anticipate ongoing culture clashes.
[This dossier will come into being if it kills him, which it very well might... one way or another.]

It's not just the planets, we get plenty of culture clashes happening on the ship, too. I guess that'd be an important thing for new people to know. That others on the ship are from all over, from places and cultures that might be super different from your own, so don't make assumptions or be quick to pass judgement.

Somehow I think the people who are quick to judge will remain so whether or not they're advised to try another approach. It isn't usually a rational process.
The foods might be different -- that's another consideration. Others might just find it improbably abundant.
