Yeah, well, that's exactly who I take issue with. The people responsible for us being here. [The people who never seemed to want to step in a help keep things under control.]

Listen, I'll I'm saying is, we've got a hold. There's no reason people who solve their problems by killing other people can't spend a little more time getting familiar with it. At least everyone else would feel a little safer, and a little less inclined to turn against each other.

[All of this is making Cassandra more bitter and jaded, and somehow really upset. She thought she had a real chance to get another try at some kind of life for herself, but this place is just as shitty as home with this going on. So when she looks up, she strongly resembles a kicked puppy.]

The hold isn't going to stop people from wanting to kill each other. If someone is that determined to kill other people...

No but at least we'd be doing something. Make people feel like it matters, and that you'll be punished for hurting others.

I....I don't know. I think it needs to be talked about. Because....maybe that's the only option in some cases. If it's that or someone dies....

It doesn't look like most people can agree on a system that works. I think it's going to take something drastic to get people talking seriously.
