I know. You're excited. I'll give you a moment to contain yourselves. [Dry as can be. It's not often that she does video. But.... This is important. She pulls down her collar to show a thick choker that snaps shut on the side, with a button on the opposite side of the neck.]

This little piece of jewelry isn't really the kinky thing it looks like. Remember that prosthetic project I was working on? Well, I had a side-goal. In the end, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

What's so important about that? Well...

[She pushes the button on the side of the collar, and her face is suddenly more like a human woman's. Complete with hair.] The prevention in this case being "don't get caught where you might get your ass kicked".

If you're headed out into a place where your species doesn't hang out? I'll rig up a face for you and offer you one of these. Two hours of battery power. Bring it back when you're done, don't use it to be an asshole, and be careful with it. I'm not giving you a new one if you mess up that one. I made these for when we had to do hazardous work like we had to do on Emiri, so I do want them returned when you're done.

The catch is you can't be over seven feet tall or under four feet for this to work. Other than that? Anything else within that range I can make it work. We also have some lovely magicians and gods and other individuals that lean towards inexplicable here who I'm sure can give you a temporary makeover. I'll be here in Med Bay if you need me.

Several. Most of us are immigrants, though. Humans are the natives.

And if you don't know he is he was a good artist that drew very boring things for people that love boring lives.
