[Frisk isn't oblivious. They've heard about Caducus Primary, and how things went south there. But they're sure that was a mistake--who would do something like that on purpose?]

We do, but what we intend to do and the outcome isn't always the same, of course. Sometimes people get hurt or we make things worse, even if it isn't on purpose, and I can understand why some crewmembers would just not want us to get involved at all, even if I don't agree with them.

I think that people should be able to decide from themselves, for each situation, even if it might be dangerous--particularly since we seem to have been able to avoid tracking that danger back to the ship, for the most part. Few things that have happened here have been a direct result of our deliberate involvement on planets we've visited.

[Frisk nods, though that worried frown hasn't left their face just yet.]

I wanna help, if we can...but I don't want anyone to get hurt, either. [The whole problem on Ceta had been one they felt helpless to change, and the captain's solution didn't feel any better than leaving things as they were. If they could have just helped the hunters to understand, they would have stopped on their own, wouldn't they?]

I understand. [Gregor smiles at them a little.] Sometimes it's hard to know what will help and what won't, and sometimes there are unintended consequences. But I think it's better to at least try, don't you?
