[The feed starts out pink from her paw pads, then white as the boss monster realizes she's covering her MID's lense. When her hand pulls back, viewers are greeted by the sight of a large smiling white goat monster. ]

Greetings, I am Toriel.

Now that things have... relatively settled down. I thought it would be a good time for baking.

I admit it is rather self indulgent, but I've been in the mood to make pie for quite awhile now. I've finally gotten the ingredient I've been missing for my favorite kind of pie, so I thought I would offer some to anyone feeling a bit hungry.

[She turns her arm a bit awkwardly, not sure how to handle the MID, eventually showing a fresh surprisingly large pie. When she turns the camera lense back to herself she's smiling a little brighter.] If you would like any fresh snail pie, please come by. I'm in the cafeteria currently.

Ah- yes, Papyrus. I've finished what I promised you, should I bring it to you?

Captain Manasseh gave me a recipe for ice cream. But I haven't tried making any yet.[And now it comes to light how the thought even came across his mind.

... he wonders if she'd want to try making it together. But... Can he actually bring himself to ask?

Link ends up ducking his head bashfully, eyes falling to his pie.]

I see. A recipe is always useful.

[The sudden bashfulness doesn't go unnoticed by the boss monster. Her smile softens in turn as she speaks. Toriel herself goes for the unspoken implication herself.] Well, if you would like to we can always try that recipe together?

[songoftime]

[Link looks up, surprise clear on his face before it melds into a mixture of shyness and relief and happiness. He gives a big nod in answer, eyes brightening.]

[The look on Link's face is all the answer the boss monster really needs.] When you have the recipe I would love to look it over. So we can gather what we need and make some snail ice cream.

[songoftime]

It's on my MID! [he exclaims, with no small amount of enthusiasm. He even holds his arm forward, as if to demonstrate where it is.

But then, he seems to catch himself. As he tries to reel his excitement in, it shows on his face, in a flicker of surprise at himself followed by reticence.] I... So, I can show it to you any time you'd like. [He knows she has other people to share pie with first. He's sure she's busy, and can't do it right now. So he needs to be more polite.]

[The enthusiasm earns a low laugh from the monster. She offers Link a encourage smile.] May I see it now, dear? If you could indulge this old woman's curiosity that is.

If I see it sooner, I can get enough snails and figure out when we can make it together.

[songoftime]

[Link starts to relax again, expression easing.] Yes. [He takes a moment to pull up the recipe on his MID. Then, he stands up on the chair on his knees, so he can better lean over the table, holding his arm out so she can get a look at it.

[Toriel reaches out gently, soft pawed hand settling against the boy's arm to provide some support. Her fur and paw pad are warm against skin.] Thank you, my dear.

[She reads through the recipe, scrolling through it.] If you could send this to me, I can get ingredients together.
