[The feed starts out pink from her paw pads, then white as the boss monster realizes she's covering her MID's lense. When her hand pulls back, viewers are greeted by the sight of a large smiling white goat monster. ]

Greetings, I am Toriel.

Now that things have... relatively settled down. I thought it would be a good time for baking.

I admit it is rather self indulgent, but I've been in the mood to make pie for quite awhile now. I've finally gotten the ingredient I've been missing for my favorite kind of pie, so I thought I would offer some to anyone feeling a bit hungry.

[She turns her arm a bit awkwardly, not sure how to handle the MID, eventually showing a fresh surprisingly large pie. When she turns the camera lense back to herself she's smiling a little brighter.] If you would like any fresh snail pie, please come by. I'm in the cafeteria currently.

Ah- yes, Papyrus. I've finished what I promised you, should I bring it to you?

[Papyrus brings up a point at that. Toriel spares the dishes out of sight a brief glance.] Ah, that is certainly true- I haven't had a slice myself.

I'll wait here for you then, dear.

[He knew Toriel's cooking had to be delicious, and obviously people wouldn't be able to resist the crunchiness and flavor of fresh snail pie. He's so smart!

It isn't too long before a loud rattling announces his arrival a few seconds before he bursts in. He does look much better than the last time she saw him. His arm's out of the sling, though he's still favoring it a little, and his HP seems to be full up again.]

Here I am! Wowie, it smells amazing in here! Were you baking all day??

[Of all things, the rattling just makes the boss monster smile, rising from her seat at Papyrus's arrival to greet the monster properly.

She steps forward, opening her arms a little in a wordless invitation for a hug. Toriel will understand if Papyrus isn't interested of course.] Thank you! I wouldn't say all day, but long enough. I'm sure everyone on shift was tired of seeing me after a certain point.

Come and sit down dear, I made the meal with magic so it should be still warm.

[Are you joking? Papyrus is never not down for a hug, especially from a tall furry boss lady. He squeezes tight, mostly with the left arm.]

I'm sure that's not true! The more you cook, the less the lazybones on this shift will have to make!

[Toriel gladly returns it, gentle with the skeleton. Papyrus is likely to discover she is as fluffy and warm as expected. Likely smells like the kitchens.

She laughs a little as she pulls away from the hug.] True enough- though I doubt they'll ever serve snail pie without me meddling to make it.

[Hugging Toriel is comforting and sweet and... somehow... familiar? No memories immediately come to mind, but it's giving him that same sense of deja vu he gets when he talks to Asriel. They were friends, good ones, and he doesn't understand why all these feelings with no solid place keep surfacing without warning.

It's a sensation he's had before coming here too, if he digs down deep and is honest with himself.

Not wanting her to worry more about him, he makes sure the big smile is firmly in place when they draw apart.]

Do humans not like it?

[He obediently takes a seat.]

I've tried snails before, Undyne seems to enjoy them, but never in a pie!

From what responses I've gotten, it doesn't seem like they do. [She doesn't take any solid offense to it. No one has too harshly turned their noses up at her offer yet. Papyrus' dilemma goes unnoticed by the boss monster.]

If Undyne appears here, I'll certainly have to see if she would like a piece of my pie then. It is a savory kind of dish, meant to be very filling. [She easily fetches a fork for Papyrus, pushing a paper plate towards the skeleton. She uncovers the lasagna easily, setting aside the foil for now. Toriel knows he can easily get it himself, but the boss monster finds it hard not to dote.]

[She's in luck -- as a little brother, even a grown one, Papyrus is fairly used to being spoiled. He makes no protest as she fusses over him and serves up the finest pasta dish he's seen in recent memory. It smells amazing. And it's likely even monster food, which is so much less embarrassing for a skeleton to eat.]

Well! They don't know what they're missing! This is a dish as masterful as anything I've made lately!

[High praise, believe it or not.]

[She can definitely believe the praise, laughing a little in turn. Her tone is fond as she replies.] Ah, thank you! I can only hope I reach your level one day, dear.

Your brother always talks about how great of a cook you are, so I certainly heard much of your skills [Toriel is not one to burst the skeleton's bubble regarding culinary skills.]
