[He's overdue for this, it's true. But Tony has been poking around before committing to an introduction. He doesn't rush in quite as recklessly these days thanks to his time with SHIELD. Trying to think more like a spy has paid off in that sense. He connects to the MID, sending his image using a camera that does not look attached to his arm. In fact, it seems to be showing a full body shot, with the camera somewhere across the room.]

My name is Tony Stark. For those who know me, I'm declaring this an emergency in neutral space. Everyone is an ally out here unless you prove otherwise.

For those I haven't met, I'd be happy to change that. Since we're all working together on this problem it doesn't hurt to make more friends. I'm sure everyone has the same goal right now and the more we work together, the faster it will go.

That said, if there's anything I can do for you, let me know. I'm guessing some of us might have arrived a little worse off than others. Just look me up if you need a hand.

[Tron has already met one man named Tony Stark here on the ship, and he wonders briefly if this is the same one. It takes him a moment to note the slight differences, but they are there.]

That seems a logical approach to take. Though I do not think everyone will automatically be allies aboard this ship, even if we are all in the same situation.

[Tony is trying to reason with multiple people at once and Tron isn't the first one to voice that point. He holds back his disappointment as much as he can, but it still bleeds into his expression.]

That's... that's fair. I mean, I don't expect everyone to team up right away. We're all surprised. But so far everyone seems friendly. No homicidal maniacs as far as I've seen, so that's a good sign. We can try to be neighborly, at least. If I could cook, I'd offer to make a pie. Maybe someone else can help us out with that.

[Tron shakes his head at that, though his expression is more resigned than disappointed.]

I'm of the same opinion as you on the matter, but there are others who are not, even from what I've seen. And I think you should count yourself lucky if everyone you've encountered has been friendly so far... my assigned roommate attempted to fight me when we first met.

[He raises his eyebrows at the mention of cooking, though...] I'm afraid I would be no help at all with creating a "pie." Cooking is quite beyond my... ah, expertise. [He nearly said "beyond my programming," but caught himself in time.]

Fight you? Well, I guess you worked things out with them? That's one way to make an impression.

[At least he hasn't been attacked just yet. But that story is part of the reason Tony is making this introduction. He wants to test the waters to see how people in general feel about their sudden enlistment on a ship they didn't really volunteer to join. Not until they were already stuck.]

That makes two of us, then. Too bad, since the Captains apparently think otherwise. Apologies in advance, by the way. I wouldn't give me kitchen duty if I were in charge.

For a given value of "worked things out." She at least is not threatening to kill me when I enter the room. [He shakes his head, remembering his first encounter with the giant... creature.] Apparently the concept of working together despite our situation seems beyond some.

[There's a small smile at that.] I'm sure you won't do any worse than I. Though I do believe we are actually assigned to one of the same kitchen shifts... perhaps with our limited knowledge combined, we can prevent a disaster?

[Tony's expression visibly takes on concern. He's still smiling, but with a creased brow and his body drawing back slightly from what he's hearing. What kind of crazy people did he get pulled into working with?]

That's... You might want to get another room? Who is your roommate, if you don't mind me asking?

[He does laugh a little, but the uneasiness from the other story is still there.]

Oh. Yeah, I mean, maybe with some teamwork we can pull off something. At least keep from setting the kitchen on fire. [No promises.]

Her name is Rinth... I don't think she really means any harm. Threatening seemed to be the extent.

My other roommate is Matt, and he is more agreeable. [A short pause, as Tron considers why Tony may be asking.] Are you attempting to track those who might cause trouble aboard the ship?

["Fire" doesn't even exist on the Grid, so there's definitely no promises there...]
