I got something in the mail from home that got me thinking about a few things:

- Has anyone ever made it back to their own time/place?

- Has anyone ever escaped and been recaptured by the Moira? If they have, did time move at all while they were away from home?

If you don't know, I'm also curious about the general morale. Do you like/dislike the ship? Why?

[She's definitely on the same page, though, when it comes to the prison part. She's just smart enough not to openly talk about mutiny where other people can read it.]

[Her favorite part is that no one seems to mind when she outright shirks her responsibilities there.

[The captains are either clueless or they're manipulating everyone. Either way, Robin doesn't actually care much about what job he was assigned.]

That counts as a question, by the way, and you still haven't answered mine. So I get to ask you another one.

Why are you asking all these questions?

Fair enough. a) There's a surprising amount of freedom. [take that how you will.] b) I work counterintelligence. If the general morale is good, that means there's no threats to keep track of onboard. Makes my job easier.

[plus he's still putting together dossiers about everyone on the ship. so basically everything in this post is being recorded.]

And I have someone back home I'm worried about. Do you have anybody like that?

No I don't.

[Which isn't to say that she doesn't want to get home. She's got things she has to do - but people aren't one of her reasons.

She definitely takes note of the counterintelligence thing. So this man is someone to be watched out for, then. Good to know.]

Why wouldn't morale be good?

[Just kidding, she knows exactly why. In fact, the opposite question is more something that baffles her - but she's not going to out herself as a troublemaker this soon.]

People might not take kindly to being brought to the Moira. Understandable, I think. Some people might come to like it, some might keep thinking about how much they hate it.

And I guess some people have important things they need to get back to.

[And they might not trust the Captains - especially given the explicit lack of a reason to do so.]

[It's technically not her turn to ask a question, but he's taking too long so she's stealing his turn.]

I'd say most of us are. Wouldn't you?

[that's fine, john doesn't consider it rude like she does. he'll either answer or he won't.]

I'm not sure. I've met a lot of people who probably aren't.

[As well as one or two people who very explicitly are not that type of person. It's... worrying.]

[because those are the people he needs to keep track of.]

[well, dewitt wasn't a big surprise, she had broadcasted as much when she had made her network post about her promotion. he knows next to nothing about the walking, talking skeletons, though.]

It's good then, that they're so supportive of living here. That influences other people to try and make the best of it.

[what he means is, is that it could make other people complacent. and while they shouldn't be trying to oust the captains violently and immediately, the crew shouldn't get used to living here.]

Yeah I think that's them.

[She only half-agrees with John on that matter. She's got absolutely no problem with ousting her kidnappers with violence and immediacy - the only reason she hasn't attempted to do so is because of the consequences that come with a mutiny attempt. It's just too risky to attempt just yet.]

Jaguar. Nice name. I'm old enough to have seen the world. Done things. Why ask?

Its a surname, I got it from my father. Call me Clover please.

[It's actually a fake name, of course. She wouldn't have really minded if the man known as Jaguar D. Saul had been her father, though. ]

I just wanted to know.

[Robin isn't aware of it, of course, but that might just give away how young she is. She's still at a point in which age matters - or it seems to, at least. It doesn't appear as important when you're an actual adult, though.]

[he doesn't really see what the big deal is, seeing as he comes from a world where your last name is your name. but she said please, so he'll abide.]

[It really isn't that big of a deal, honestly, but Clover is the name she has everyone else is calling her and she'd like to at least keep things consistent.]

I'm 8. Does it matter?

No. You asked, so I figured I return the favor. Pretty well spoken for an 8 y/o.
