[ Every MID gets a nice picture sent to it. The image is a bit blurry, but it (hopefully) reads loud and clear. ]
If we don't figure out how to fix this, this is what I see
And it's not good.
those whale things won't make it and maybe we won't either.
can't anyone read those signs? they're there for a reason

[ If it's what is that big blue blob? she's just going to roll her eyes. ]

[ Clarifying points, really. Most everything else he feels he can parse out pretty well on his own. ]

I like color. maybe I should have added more red.
There was lots of red...
And the future changes all the time, one little thing and I'll be drawing a different ending. it's what I see now
I don't know about tomorrow

what do you think we can do? they're not gonna leave
Not right now [ And she's scared. ]

A synthetic alternative might do the trick. Without knowing too much about the materials they're harvesting it could be a stretch. It may not be replicable.
Education certainly can't hurt; if everyone understands what's at stake, then the decision to continue hunting becomes that much harder. Based on past experience, I don't imagine great success with this option.
Immediate intervention by the crew isn't out of the question, either. It's the least likely to succeed and stemming this type of thinking aboard the Moira will prove to be difficult. This is not an option I would personally recommend.
This is hardly a comprehensive list, and without hearing the issues from all sides, it's going to be difficult to decide the most appropriate route.

you say a lot for someone who isn't really sure what we should do
Not everything's as easy as all that anyway. everyone can't be happy, that's just how the world is
It seems like that works the same way here too.

Have you been down there yet? from what I see, it's not looking so good
text
It's really just the one. The other still looks like the blue fish from Dr. Seuss, but it's still pretty good.
So I guess we're gonna have to save those whale things.
text
what ideas do you have this time?
[ Because she's not really sure how they're going to do that. ]

[He really doesn't want to be involved in another destroyed planet. He really doesn't.]
These things you see got a habit of coming true?

Like I said, the future changes all the time. this is what I see right now, but it could be different later

Is that all you see? Sparked fire?
text
Good heavens.
text
Maybe we can scare those things off, get em to go somewhere else for awhile.

if I knew more I could stop it somehow

I don't wanna explode

[soy sauce.]
I wonder just how many of those hunters there are down there.
text
You've seen all the people on this ship just like me
[ Soy sauce or not, space is a lot different than home. She wants to go back there. ]
Too many for you to stop by yourself. I'll go with you
text
[and he did not inject that shit into his veins just to die. nope.]
Hold up, killer. You're not going anywhere. But there has to be enough of us on this thing who can stop them.
text
You can't do it on your own. until we find out, all you've got is me
Re: text
It's an elaborate commentary on the folly of man.

That's why we need to keep it that way

[ He's bound to have a lot to say on both subjects. It's just the Kenobi way. ]

those whales aren't gonna be the only thing that's dead if we don't do something
no subject
but it doesn't mean something isn't wrong...

[ It's a bit rude, probably, but she's terrified of this future. ]
text;
What makes you think I intend to do nothing?
text;
I wouldn't see this anymore.
I've drawn it too many times, too many ways, and it hasn't changed
text;
I can only hope it takes less time to resolve than it appears we have. I'm not fond of facing certain death.

IDK how that tag strayed. I'm a champ.
I do not want to leave another planet to burn.

well shit.]
Maybe this is one we need to think through a little.
no subject
ah, yeah it's. it's not good.
so you can only see a certain point in the future? you cant see, say, a little earlier to know exactly what caused this?
no subject
The folly of whales.
no subject
[ That's what those are, right. ]

why did you draw this anyway? bad dream?
