So, because I mention it in another conversation, I am going to say this here where all new people can hear it, and it does not need to be said a bunch of times.

You will sometimes see people with faces like people you know, but they aren't them. You will see people with names and histories of people you know, but look a little different. You will see two different versions of the same person, that looks exactly the same, but with slightly different pasts. Sometimes someone will go away, and when you see them again? They won't remember you.

This is called 'alternate universes'. Most of the time. Maybe sometimes it's a pretty bad prank. That would be shitty of someone to do but it could be. Usually though? It is that you get two versions of two very alike things.

So don't get too confused if someone shows up and doesn't remember you, or someone remembers one of your friends, or someone is looking for a different but much alike person with same name. It just happens. It is pretty shitty that this becomes normal but ah... whatever. Someone good at science can explain how it's possible.

I don't think you have to be. You can if you want to. I live a pretty dangerous life. If something doesn't kill me? It is just a thing that happened. The Ingress? If it saved me? Another thing that happened.

That's a good perspective. It's basically where I am on the matter. I know who to blame for my death and what happened, but here I am to live on afterward. It's strange because there are so many many places I could have died before that, but I always made it through until then.

For the most part, I am the same. But death has not gotten so close to me yet that my way out was a different universe.

But not for lack of trying.

You would be surprised who would be willing to take someone with them when they left here. Seems like it will be the better choice.

You know a person named Zam? They have this same problem. When they asked about it, that seemed like a pretty good idea. Better than feeling stuck somewhere like this forever, even if you miss home.

When we reach our destination. Whenever that is. Just have to stay alive until then.
