[Cue smash cut to a turian in your vents, Avagi. Or, rather, in some paneling, the light from her omni-tool casting brilliant light over a smoldering circuit.]
So while half of this place is gearing up to go play diplomacy, anyone think we should focus on fixing our half of the station?
[Or whatever section they're in.]
We've got mold, standing water, carnivorous plants and power failures. Not to mention who knows how many of our supplies got wrecked.
Maybe I'm out of the loop -- and I'll be glad to be wrong there -- but maybe we should get a handle on the systems on our side first.

diplomacy can suck itself honestly.

You any good with circuits? Power connections?
no subject
where are you gonna start fixing?

Right now, I'll take anyone who can figure out how to connect a damn wire and get a light turned back on.

and heh, setting the bar real low for the crowd, huh?
no subject
Easier to set it low and be surprised.

Anyway I can help with that. I've done some around Chemistry already.

Not much we can do in some spots until we can get the water cleared out.

If we pull the actual vacuums out of some of the little roomba things, maybe we can work with something.
Pump it all into the garden area.

I don't know how this space shit works.

I think. Hell if I know how plants work.

Yeah, I dunno, have you been out of the loop? I've only been asking for help fixing this station for weeks by now. But suuuure! I'll just get around to sorting out this mess with the twenty person team I totally have on hand. Maybe I can just will them into existence!
[ Guess who has been doing around the clock repairs ever since the pipes burst? ]

You're not the only one trying to fix this scrap pile, so excuse me for asking a damn question.
text;
You don't get to ask why people are taking off to 'play diplomacy' when they're risking their lives trying to obtain the very piece of tech we need in order to fix the very situation we're in. Everything we can achieve with what we have now is a stopgap measure. You'd know this if you'd been around helping us reverse engineer these systems trying to pinpoint the damn problem in the first place.
IF you really want to make yourself useful, sign up to the list. I'll assess your skill and if you pass, you get access to the LSS control center and the array of systems there to help you make repairs without electrocuting yourself. Doesn't that sound so much better than being an asshole on the network?

Nihlus, it's possible this isn't the very best way to get results with this particular thorn in your foot.

[ Because frankly, Nihlus had stopped expecting much of anything from Nyx asides from the usual monthly brand of typical assholishness. ]
She can try and publicly devalue the efforts of my coworkers and I as much as she wants to, but I'm not going to make it easy for her.

Eddie's got his nose and mouth covered with a cloth, but his grey eyes are large and sincere. A little watery too, but that's from sneezing so often lately. He was very sensitive to air like this.)
I'll help if I can. I'm trying to convince people to wear protection over their mouths and noses. But people are dumb.
video
You okay, kid?
video
Do you think I should hand some out?
I'm okay enough, I guess. (Just stressed, but.) I'm trying to figure out what parts of the ship we could even use to fix up the busted parts. I don't have tools though.
