This isn't an exercise in how you see yourself. Asking if people would shoot themselves is pointless and a little too armchair.

This is just about what you'd do under pressure. Nothing more.

but i guess it depends, what kind of pressure do you really mean. dying is temporary for some people, so getting shot wouldn't be that scary. if i saw a guy i didn't like i'd just kick him off the bridge. if they were nice to me, maybe i'd make them walk back. if it were miwa and she was awake... i guess first one to die loses.

Let's make it more relevant to the situation. On the other side of the bridge is an Ingress. It's been fixed to send you back to your IDEAL home.

The only thing standing in your way is someone you care about. If you don't kill them or get past them quickly, the Ingress will close forever.

problem with this scenario: my ideal home wouldn't even have me in the first place.
ideal would be if the people responsible for me are either dead or never born.
if they were never around, i wouldn't be around.
i wouldn't wanna go there, there's no point.

if the ingress closes and i knew someone was still around that made my life full of shit, i'd go back. miwa can stay here.
