Talk of my birthday usually puts me on edge. There's a lot of...conflicting feelings that I have about it.

I never really intended for it to get out. I asked Shiro to keep me company that day because...well, to be honest? This is the first year I've had to celebrate it without Acteon.

There's that old saying that everyone is born to do something. But when you're born to literally do the worst possible thing, it's hard finding merit in your "special day."

Acteon...was really good at helping me to forget all of that prophecy garbage.
