Oh, nah, I was just curious. I'm from a place where I end up stuck on a lot of alien planets and I love to cook. I usually have a pretty good eye for what's gonna end up edible or not, but.. [He shrugged, grinning a little] Can't be right all the time, huh?

Heh. Yeah, I have pretty great friends here.

It's super simple, but spam musubi. Reminds me of home, you know?

Just spam cooked in a sweet sauce that's mostly sugar and soy, rice, and a little bit of seaweed. But I haven't had it in forever and really miss it.

It's ... uh. Kind of hard to explain. It's ... canned meat? Pork based? Preserved with salt and some other stuff so it's known for being pretty salty.

It sounds a little like ham. So it's ham with sauce... that doesn't sound bad. You could probably get most of the ingredients here if you looked for them.

Yeah, wouldn't be the same. May try to get my hands on some of the basics to play around with them, though.

I do! I'm a chef here. Back home I was on an engineering track at my .. uh, school, so I have a good time with that too. Fewer engineering jobs here, though.

I'm the manager of an ice rink in the Time District... you might have seen it! It looks like a castle. But of course, we're closed for now.

Oh, that's all right. It's a northern country. It doesn't seem that many people have heard of it, but it's near Sweden, north of Germany and France. Across the sea.
