Well you're asking a pretty sweeping question there mate. To err is human and all that, if we went around holding a grudge against every little insult you'd have no mates left to forgive.

I'm not about to declare a personal vendetta over, say, some bloke who didn't put the toilet seat down, but I'm sure as hell going to be pretty squiffy about being matey with someone who tried to kill me.

No, Reinhardt. It isn't silly at all. Everyone has their own feelings and processes to sort through issues as they come. Everyone will feel hurt at varying degrees for different 'injuries'. Each and every person has their own threshold for what they can take and how long it takes to 'heal'. That's normal. I'm only sympathetic that you're continuing to struggle with that pain and I wish there was more I could do to help.

Even if it were a broken bone and I could tell you it will take around three months to heal up, that doesn't mean other complications won't arise and draw out the process. There is no time limit to feel as you feel and dust your hands off once the cast comes off. It's never so simple.
