[Illidan's voice is deep and melodic, sounding both speculative and resentful.]
So many things lost worth saving, and so much time spent in preparation and reparation for our chosen paths. Yet, when you look back on your life from the vantage point of these new worlds, what perspective have we?
[He's silent a few moments, speculating answers himself, before speaking again.]
Our presence here does not alter nor reverse what we did on our worlds, nor why we did them. Our mistakes follow us, as do our own truths. The injustice bore on our shoulders follows us too, as it had shaped us before so does it now.
[Illidan's silence this time doesn't last as long, and the resentful tone slips away to leave only a questioning sound to his voice.]
How much can we reshape ourselves here, to find new causes here?
Is there anything here worth sacrificing for?
[Now is the longest pause, and he adds as an obvious side-note not at all related to the ponderings he's shared just now:] And where is the best brothel one can recommend on these worlds?

voice;
A mage, then. [He's impressed, having his own twisted roots in the ways of a sorcerer. Illidan wonders if Dorian too feels the need to always do more, learn more, become more powerful. Magic is as limitless as one's imagination and the lengths one is willing to go to in order to master it. In the back of his mind, his brother's voice nags at him that no one person can truly master magic. Illidan smirks to himself.]
My people lived in a place like the Fade, thousands of years ago. The Emerald Dream we call it. We walked there with the gods and demi-gods who would later shape the waking world. Even now the most skilled of druids among us can transcend there at will, though it is the dream keeper dragons who truly preserve it now.
[He's rambling a bit, lost in ancient memories, remembering his many lessons in those enchanted groves with his twin brother and of course... Tyrande. Illidan is silent for just a moment before he comes back to the topic at hand.]
The Dream has its own corruptions currently. Everything stems from the Burning Legion, demons from the void of space who would see all worlds crumble into ash.
Dorian, what is the name of your magic? What powers do you wield? ...have you heard of Fel magic?
voice;
An Altus [Dorian added.] A member of mage nobility, I've had a great many successes that I'm quite proud of.
[Obviously Dorian enjoys being a mage, something of a privilege when you come from the northern region of Thedas, the south? Not so much. Dorian appreciated magic, naturally, it was a tool like any other tool...a bow, a sword...and it was a wonder. Of course there were aspects of magic that were not understood and there was where Dorian walked the line of caution. Too many mages played with magic that they didn't understand because they believed it would make them very powerful and...oops abomination...oops a whole in this sky...oops a tear in the fabric of time, let's unravel the world! Dorian was not a fan of Blood Magic either because it was also the sort of magic that wasn't fully understood.]
It seems like our worlds aren't terribly different, we have Dragons as well...not dream keeper dragons...more like melt the flesh from your bones dragons, steal your cattle when you're not looking dragons, terrorize your villages dragons. Some of them even become archdemons...well archdemons are a very specific sort of dragon...actually an old god that has been corrupted by Darkspawn and the Blight...another story entirely.
[Darkspawn, dragons, magic...now there is a long and complicated history, fortunately it's not something he has to expand upon at the moment. Not yet anyway, as there are more pressing questions needing answered.]
I've not heard of Fel magic...but we tend to call our magic...magic. Oh there are different schools of magic, let's see...there are very specialized classes of magic such as blood magic, arcane magic, rift magic, and necromancy...then you have your base level magic, spirit healers, creation, entropy, primal, elemental, spirit, and force...and then you have magic by race or by types of mage, a hedgemage might be able to shapeshift, Dalish elves might have nature abilities, and Darkspawn will use blight magic.
[There's so much out there and this list isn't exactly limited to what exists in his world.]
As for me I specialize in necromancy and I also excel in the spirit and elemental areas of magic as well...and I helped create time magic, but I refuse to use it.
