[So tired. This tired young woman is slowly opening her eyes and then closing them. She doesn't know where she's at, but she feels she's not getting enough rest and curls into whatever furniture she's currently next to.

She then notices a sound and weakly opens up an eyelid to see]

'…'

'HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THIS? IS THIS THING ON?!'

[She scrambles to try fiddling with her TAB it but it then falls on the floor, and she with it thanks to her weird couch type bed having only just enough space. She then grumbles on the carpet and starts playing with it.]

*OOC: Want to shock her by saying hello? Go right ahead!

So, you're fresh out of the Ingress, huh? Well, try not to be too alarmed, but you're on a brand new planet. If you've got any questions, I can fill you in as best as I can.

Well, to be honest? I can't peg you from just a video feed. I'd have to meet you in person. Get a sense of the way your body moves, the weight behind your steps. Usually, I can get a solid feel for what suits people by just having them walk into my forge and I do a quick walk around them. You'd be surprised just how much your natural body language can tell about what type of weapons and equipment would be suitable for you.

[Quickly, Darin throws his hands up in a placating gesture.]

Oh! Relax! I'm sure it's fine! Nothing bad happens...I think. You just get pulled here for...reasons.

[She then laughs]

I wouldn't be surprised if my old planet DID died off. Some of it didn't look so swell compared to this place. And if it DID... [She's now wondering if her friends made it out like her.]

And while I agree with investigating, don't get too hung up on why you were brought here in the first place. Think of it like...an interstellar vacation!

Things might be tough, but they're not all bad. Theres plenty of danger here, but there's also plenty of excitement! New things to experience! New people to meet and adventures to have!

So, I guess I don't see any reason to be glum. We'll all find our ways home eventually! Let's make the best of our time now!

Then I appreciate that, I really do. The last thing I need is to feel depressed. I need to keep my head up so I can explore this place, that way I can know what I'm dealing with.

It won't be that adventurous though. I basically want a tour buddy to come along with me while I explore, but I'll be up for anything else if you think of something.

My name is Tifa Lockhart. I'm...well used to be, a brawling bartender over in my world. I used to fight a lot against evil forces but nowadays I tend to take care of my bar and others that live with me. [Hopefully that's better?]

Yep, that's me! Pretty perfect since I don't have to rely on guards to throw others out. I can just do that on my own.

Hmmm maybe? I think I only will if the public really wants it. I can't just open a bar for just two people.

Do you know of any area that's in demand of one? I'm not sure if I'm living in an area that would go for it, but I'm willing to commute if I can find an area that wants a bar.

[Darin rubs at his chin again. Tifa was right...it was business 101: supply and demand. If there was no demand, then there'd be no point in supplying.]

Well, the beauty of this place is that it's a cultural hub. Like any big city, but instead of people from different regions, there are different races of beings from different parts of the galaxy entirely! That said...the natives have been pretty receptive to our way of life. And I know one thing for sure, there's plenty of people who need a good drink. Whether it's because a mission went wrong or they're just stressed about finding a way home, a comfortable and welcoming place to drink would definitely bring people together.

I live in Kauto, Region 5 right now. Big house with a lion on top of it. It's a nice neighborhood! If you do decide to set up shop, I'll even help you advertise!

Oh wow, really? Talk about coincidence. I live in Kauto! And...I think I live right next to you? Cause I'm looking out my window and I'm seeing a Lion on top of a house near me.

[Darin rolls out of his hammock (because he prefers the hammock to an actual bed) and goes to his window on the second floor. He pulls back the curtains, opens the window, and actually climbs out onto the overhanging awning of the lower floor.]

I'm outside now, next to the lion! Can you see me??

[Behold this 6'2" blue haired doofus waving his dumb arm.]

[Tifa is VERY surprised to see him! She laughs, opens up her window and leans out, waving right back out to him.]

This is awesome! We can hang out whenever we want and we don't have to world hop or anything!

[And Tifa is not bothering talking into her TAB. She's yelling in his direction now.]
