I'm not asking for anyone's help making this decision, but I've got a big one that dropped in my lap, and I'm thinking about the whole process now. You know—dealing with the whole 'this is going to affect me for the rest of my life' thing.

It's not fun.

I think I know what I'm going to do, but pulling the trigger, so to speak...it sucks.

[ Several minutes later, a for sale ad is sent out from Tex's network address: ]

For sale: 2 android-style robots. These are empty shells without any sort of intelligence included. 1 suit of Freelancer armor. Cobalt blue. Sniper rifle not included. Prices on these items are negotiable. Please make a reasonable offer.

I tend to think anytime I make it further into the future that it's some kind of fluke. But I think you're right.

No, I'm talking about my plans for after they find our signatures in the Ingress. Which is that I'm pretty much planning to live life as a human from that point. Which is why I decided to get rid of the robots.

I like how hard I can hit in the robot. Actually, I fucking love that. But there's a lot I love about my life in my human form that I'll never have if I stick with the robot.

Why not go back and forth between them? I mean, if it's possible. Does such a thing have side effects?
