[ Hanzo is not the kind of man that accepts things lightly and being checked over and introduced to some foreign place does not sit well with him. He is uncomfortable, he is unhappy and, more importantly, he is frustrated by what he has found by reading as much as possible on these devices. There has been mention of himself and, at the same time, mention of his brother.
His brother who is not listed, but he cannot run the risk.
The fear is a slight chill down his spine, something that prickles and makes his arm ache ever so slightly. ]
Genji Shimada. Is he present.
[ It's a question, really, but he's not really thinking straight right now. In fact, he's thinking that sitting in a corner with his flask of sake and his thoughts might end up being far more productive. ]

It's good to have you back, Hanzo. I see you've already received reply on Genji. May I ask what it is you were doing before your arrival here?

I was visiting Hanamura.

I hope you found peace. You don't recall your previous stay here, do you? That requires an introduction again, then.
I'm Dr. Angela Ziegler, from Overwatch. It's a pleasure to make your re-acquaintance.

I do not. I have been told that I was here before, but I recall nothing of it.
[ He's doing his best to manage it all, however. ]
It is a pleasure to meet you, Dr. Ziegler.

That is normal, without delving into the science of it. I can't say we spoke more than a couple of times but I can hope you'll allow me the chance to try again. [ 'Their best' is all they can do here, really. It is the sort of effort she'll recognize readily. ] Just Angela is fine.
[ Oh... wait, no, it isn't— her hurried response on the tail end of the last: ]
Whatever is most comfortable for you, honestly.
[ Nailed it. ]

Then there is not much for me to catch up on. I am glad. [ Someone who wants to get to know him despite knowing him before? It sounds ridiculous.
At least her hurried addition is enough to make him huff something of a laugh. ]
Angela will be acceptable, then.

[ She's certain she still had some of Genji's tea stashed somewhere, as well. Perhaps she could give it to Hanzo instead. Still unsure just how to go about speaking with him, however, leaves her floundering for words. Especially when he accepts her offer to refer to her by her given name, remembering his brother's staunch lessons in manners and familiarity. It was a good sign, right? Finally: ]
Likewise, if you found yourself in need of some guidance here, in this place, I hope you won't hesitate to ask.
[ She should... offer him a meal, perhaps, or a place to stay— but that is far too forward for how little they know one another, Genji's brother or no. That came with plenty of its own strings attached. ]

[ Which he supposes is a good thing, not a bad thing. If he had no one to ask it would only secure his isolation, and that is not something that he ought to give into just yet. Once he has learned the city, the people, whoever knows his brother... Then he might be able to duck away and find a place for himself.
Until then... He fears he may well be burdened with a fair few acts of kindness. ]
If I require aid I will ask.
[ It's not a promise that he'll actually talk to her - because he is unlikely to actually admit that he needs help. ]

[ Which is to say, do try to be grateful for the assistance. The next response is a touch curt, but she remembers him being such a man. He had his convictions and his honor and a demeanor drilled into him over the course of a lifetime, and she remembers to press a little more, take the sharper bits with a touch of patience. ]
I should hope we'd be able to speak regardless. [ So there would be no need to admit needing help involved. ] I make a mean espresso, after all.
[ And that is a gentle enough invitation, right? ]

[ He is trying his best, truly, but he has never been much good at accepting kindness - that hasn't changed over the last ten years. It's going to take time for the mantle of the Clan to truly fade away, and being alive in a strange place like this... It's not going to make it easier.
The offer, though... He huffs a noise. Everyone wishes to ply him with drinks and kindness. It's enough to make him wish to roll his eyes and dismiss her entirely, but he doesn't quite have the will. ]
When I am settled an opportunity may arise.
