[The network does start, showing the face of a man who looks to be in his late teens to his early twenties. His face is sun-darkened, his hair dark, his shirt open at the neck, and there is a gleam of gold in his ears. His general air is seemingly playful, as if he is a man that could easily laugh.
Yet the most striking thing about him likely are his eyes. One is gold, and the other silver. He raises an eyebrow a touch, and his mouth shifts into the ghost of a smirk. His voice is gravelly, deep, and there is perhaps a slight lilt to it, when he does finally speak.]
Ah. So it is as simple as the push of a button.
[Although given the look that he is offering, it is fairly clear that Po is not familiar with the item in question.]
When I once said I was more restless than my brothers, I never meant to end up in another universe. The very notion has never once crossed my mind. Rather, it simply meant I preferred to go along my way as I would, through the Seven Kingdoms, perhaps a bit further, if the fancy ever took. Yet, here I am, and I should properly introduce myself.
[There is a motion, and he does come across as quite a social creature, as he bows to the screen.]
Prince Greening Grandemalion of Lienid, Po, to my friends, at your service. I will completely forgive you if you have not heard of my little kingdom. I can say that this little item- a TAB- is quite foreign and unknown, although it does seem to be quite handy. But, I will be more than happy to tell you about mine, if you tell me about yours.
[That light dancing back in his eyes.]
Whether island, city, farmstead... Space ship? Do many people come from worlds with this means of travel?

video;
[As that is the mental image that comes to mind with her statement. It is an amusing one mind, and one he thinks would be quite tiring.]
I suppose if anyone is going to try it, it will be you.
video;
Would there be any other way to do it?
[ One must look ridiculous, of course; but it wouldn't matter how she looked if she could fly, with all the speed and thrill that came with it. ]
Try, but the best idea I've yet had is to jump off the highest cliff I can find and hope for the best.
video;
If the wings are like a bird's wings, one would think that to be the case.
[Although there certainly are other creatures as well. Insects, for starters, and animals. Not that the mental image is any better for either of those options.]
Perhaps you should start a little smaller.
video;
I'm not saying I'll do it. But I'd not be very successful jumping off an anthill.
video;
[Or achieve it and fall like a bird struck when one's concentration went out the proverbial window.
And honestly Katsa... From one extreme to the other.]
In between those two, there would be a more reasonable middle ground.
video;
It would be marvelous, though, wouldn't it? To know that you could fly, if you managed to hold your laughter at how preposterous it all looked long enough. [ She settles back, eyeing Po through her TAB. ] What would you suggest then, my lord scholarly prince?
video;
It could have its benefits, although I would think it would be quite tiring.
[Which doesn't really mean anything to Katsa. She likely could fly for days and still land, fresh as a flower.]
I would suggest not tempting you, lest you seek to prove me wrong.
video;
[ Of course, those are birds and not humans, and they hadn't been fully serious about the whole thing; but Katsa does begin to wonder how possible such a thing might be.
She snorts a laugh. ]
I'm sure I'd sprout wings just to be contrary. [ The smile is in her eyes. She's teasing, herself the target as much as Po. ] Perhaps they use drafts. It would certainly be a quicker means to descend from the hills during long travel. Have you never tried it in Lienid, from your mountain cities? Maybe you should. Alongside all the ropes.
video;
[Shall he go on~ But his laugh deepens, because he could see Katsa doing just that. But no. No he never has tried it, and he can't say he has any desire to.]
Going downhill is easy. It is the walk back up that grows tiring.
video;
[ One step at a time! Katsa envisions it, the feeling of falling such a distance with full confidence in her landing, wind stinging her cheeks. Such a feeling, and the sights on the way down—yes, she thinks she'd like that very much in fact.
She misses the feeling of exciting new sights, when she thinks about it. And the feeling of hanging over the bow of a ship as it tosses, or views of the mountains and seas from high above. Katsa sighs. ]
Po. I've been thinking. I'm not interested in sitting on my hands, waiting to be carted back to the Middluns whenever whatever strange power brought us here decides to send us back.
[ This is an absurdly obvious statement in itself, but there's clearly more to it that she's still working out what to say. ]
video;
There is a slight quirk of an eyebrow as she starts with she's been thinking, a curious expression on his face. Given their wing conversation, who knows what direction it might take. (He might, if she thinks directly about him...) Yet she does state what Po knows. Patience has never been her strongest trait, although he loves her all the same with or without it.]
You wish to do something.
[As he can tell that there is more that she does wish to say, yet aside from that slightly prompting look, Po does otherwise remain looking his usual calm self.]
video;
Yes. I wish—well, I don't really know what it is exactly I wish, but I'll not wither away here until I'm wrinkled. Surely those native to this world might know something about what brought us here. Or there were disembodied hearts thrown on our doorsteps not long after I arrived, with no apparent source or explanation. And—
[ She's pacing now. ]
And I hear the weather on that other world—they call it a planet?—is harsh, and unpredictable, and would that not be the sort of place to hide secrets if you had them?
video;
But Katsa has never been one to sit around.
His eyebrow arches ever so at the mention of hearts, although he lets her keep talking, knowing that she is going to some point. And he does pause, to ponder, contemplating. It would be the sort of place that secrets could be hidden, at least from his perspective. From theirs though?]
Transport can be arrange there, correct? Although some supplies will be necessary.
video;
I've my blades. Clothes are easy enough to come by, and food can be found. [ These are all the necessary supplies, right? ] As far as transport—
[ She stops now and frowns. ]
I believe it can be easily arranged to get there. Though I—mislike this world's methods.
video;
Food and water may not be so easily found, especially depending upon what manner of harshness is to be found.
video;
The people there survive somehow.
[ But he's making a point. She's entirely unfamiliar with what's even there. Of course that only makes the thought of going even more exciting, but perhaps she ought to be at least a little aware of what to expect. Her statement is a little less forceful than her previous ranting.
Then, with some pause. ]
...You would go there with me?
[ It occurs to her that she hasn't asked. ]
video;
[For all he knows, Katsa may well that make world her playground. He has no idea about how far she has tested or pushed her own Grace, and he can't say he desires to put her in to a life or death situation to find out.
But he laughs, that bright chime of a laugh, that touches his lips and his eyes. Perhaps she has assumed before that point, but she is not wrong in her assumption.]
Just try to leave me behind.
video;
[ This is immediate, automatic. It's a rebuttal, but more than that Katsa simply means it to encompass everything, to her very core. For what would her Grace be any use, if not this—and though she would use every advantage it provides, even without it she would do everything within and beyond her power to protect him.
And as serious as she is, it still warms her to hear him laugh like this. ]
You're only lucky it isn't horses we'll use to travel, or I'd not even need to try.
video;
[As that will never change. Katsa knows him better than most, with only his mother and grandfather truly knowing him as he is. He bears no pride in being aided by her. Only a fool would.
There is that light noise from within his throat.]
I've no doubt you'll inquire as to if we can't go faster, no matter how quick it is.
video;
Katsa responds to neither of his claims, acceptance of both implicit in her silence, though she doesn't ignore him. ]
I'll see what I can learn of the other planet. As soon as I know a little of the travel there, if you're ready, we can go.
video;
[Not because he doesn't trust her, but because two heads can be better than one.]
