Is this thing- [The feed starts to show a teenage girl staring down at the feed. Her bottom lip is between her teeth, before she lets out a little huff, sending strands of white and brown hair fluttering away from her face.] Okay. [A slight drawl to that, as a gloved hand pushes her hair back behind her ear.] I've seen and heard some crazy things, but Ah gotta admit, this? I think this takes the blue ribbon.
[Not to mention the fact that she still feels like she wants to puke her guts out.] Ah get what was said by those people that I spoke with. I'm not stupid, but... Well, I mean, it's a bit hard to accept this. That guide- [The tone of her voice really says it all about the guide. But, if what it says is true... It is a lot to take in, and a lot that really doesn't seem right or real.
Of course that leads to a lot of other questions, such as who, and why, and how.] Is it true though? Any of it? Twin planets and space travel- We ain't even gone beyond the moon yet!
[And that part she hesitates on.] Or, or is this just someone's idea of a stupid joke. [A stupid joke.] 'cause it's not funny, if it is.
But Ah guess I should say hello, 'cause I'm here for now, wherever here actually is. Name's Rogue. And, don't suppose anyone knows of Xavier's Institute...?

I see. That's a bit in the past for me. Or at least, in one past.
[He runs a hand over his face, not sure if he should say more or not. But then again, this is Rogue, his Rogue, the one he remembers most. He owes her the truth, at least.]
I think you and I are due for a long chat, kid. Things....well, they got complicated in the future. And in the past too, I guess.
[He's making sense, he swears.]
video;
Anyone else, I'd think they'd knocked their noggin, and Ah don't know what exactly you're talkin' about, but I trust you.
video;
Can't blame you for that. I hardly believe it myself, but apparently, it's the truth.
[Since Chuck's young self knows him.]
Anyway. Welcome to this crazy place. At least, we're as new as the rest of the Moira crew to this planet.
video;
[And what else there might be... She lets a small huff of air out.]
But, this planet... We're just here? That's all- not exactly what Ah thought about when it came to life on other planets.
video;
Oh, you'd be surprised, kid.
[The smile stays: better joke about their situation then cry, right? Or in his case, grump.]
What? You expected green little men? Careful what you wish for: I've met some of the monsters here, they aren't really what I'd call handsome.
video;
We all know monsters don't need to come in green.
video;
He shrugs slightly: she's right, of course. Not that he'll concede the point yet.]
Hey, for my defense, Toad was green.
[You know, that ugly frog-like mutant they met at Liberty island?]
video;
Fine. Some of them do, but not all of them.
video;
What am I hearing? Are you saying I was right, for once? [Sorry Rogue, he's screwing with you. Nothing like teasing his favorite teen.]
But yeah, monsters come in many colors. Haven't seen one here yet, though.
[He means that he hasn't seen anyone belonging to the Brotherhood
yet]video;
[Because she will sass you right back, mister!]
Mm. That's good, although some of those monsters got camouflage anyway... But guess that wouldn't work in person with you.
video;
After spending all of those years hearing you kids screaming, it may very well be going. No amount of instant healing can bring back years of teenagers complaining.
[Don't let yourself be fooled, Rogue. He's loved every bit of those years.]
True. but I haven't smelled Mystique either. And she might not be the same that you and I know. From what I heard, she became quite the hero to the other mutants.
video;
It does earn another smile and another roll of her eyes.]
Someone's gotta keep you on your feet. A rolling stone collects no moss, an' all.
[But she does nod. If there's anyone whose words she accepts as it is, it would be Logan's. Not that it doesn't stop her from puzzling over the last part.]
A hero? For doing what? Last I heard, being a pain in the ass and a bad guy doesn't exactly win you awards.
video;
So, now I'm collecting moss? That's nice to know.
[His expression sobers up lightly. He never really got the chance to know the younger Mystique, but if Charles managed to change the future, he's willing to consider the blue mutant being able to change her own path as well. Magneto is really the only one he thinks for certain of being incapable of really changing.]
Well. Years after the whole cure mess, things got really bad and...Well, Kitty's mutation evolved to a point where she could send someone's consciousness back in time.
[He waves a hand dismissively] Don't ask me how it works, I'm not sure I could even explain it. Anyway, I was sent back to change the past. To change how Raven became...Mystique. I think in the end, it was the Professor who managed to get to her in time, but it worked. So Jean, Kurt and Charles all see her as a hero, instead of a villain.
[He's still digesting that one, honestly. Logan would understand if Rogue didn't believe him.]
video;
Emotions flicker across her face, because that white chunk of hair is proof enough for Rogue that Mystique and Magneto are more than willing to use people to get their way.]
So, what? Everything is sunshine and lollipops now?
[And just what the heck does that all mean anyway. It sounds almost like some plot for a bad sci-fi movie. Bam, alternate reality, and she's what, defunct now?]
video;
Well, compared to what it was before that? Yeah, it sorta is.
But I never got the whole story. I was brought here before the Professor could tell me about the 50 years I had missed.
[But since Rogue still sported that white streak, and since she was still at the mansion, it could only mean that somewhere along the line, Magneto and Mystique turned their back on Charles.]
