Is this thing- [The feed starts to show a teenage girl staring down at the feed. Her bottom lip is between her teeth, before she lets out a little huff, sending strands of white and brown hair fluttering away from her face.] Okay. [A slight drawl to that, as a gloved hand pushes her hair back behind her ear.] I've seen and heard some crazy things, but Ah gotta admit, this? I think this takes the blue ribbon.

[Not to mention the fact that she still feels like she wants to puke her guts out.] Ah get what was said by those people that I spoke with. I'm not stupid, but... Well, I mean, it's a bit hard to accept this. That guide- [The tone of her voice really says it all about the guide. But, if what it says is true... It is a lot to take in, and a lot that really doesn't seem right or real.

Of course that leads to a lot of other questions, such as who, and why, and how.] Is it true though? Any of it? Twin planets and space travel- We ain't even gone beyond the moon yet!

[And that part she hesitates on.] Or, or is this just someone's idea of a stupid joke. [A stupid joke.] 'cause it's not funny, if it is.

But Ah guess I should say hello, 'cause I'm here for now, wherever here actually is. Name's Rogue. And, don't suppose anyone knows of Xavier's Institute...?

An' it's too far for you?

[Said slightly hesitantly. She knows that his abilities only go so far, but hey, it's worth a shot. Although she guesses where would he go... Not like she's asked if he can travel through space.

But she blinks, before giving a soft laugh, head bobbing down for a moment.]

Well, he has been in my head. [An off-hand manner, which he won't get, likely.] You- you helped us out.

[Can she speak about the future? Is it going to mess something up?]

Much too far. My current range is roughly three miles ...

[Such a small distance, but it could perhaps become more, if he continues to practice enough. Sadly, 'space travel' cannot be achieved through teleportation. Not through his, anyway.

He's beaming at hearing her laugh, though, iridescent eyes alight with elation.]

Has he? I didn't know he was telepathic. [There he goes again - making assumptions.] I did? That must mean I decided to stay with the X-Men ...

[And he's swelling with pride at that, content to know that his future decision was what he had hoped for.]

[She nods, understandingly. She would say that his is still a better ability than her own. Then again, Rogue is pretty sour towards her own.

But it is Rogue's turn to snort softly.]

Ah, he's not. Considerin' how grumpy he already is, imagine him with that.

[But it is said fondly.]

Oh. Well... Ah mean, is there some rule or something? Should I be talking about future stuff?

[Whenever he finds out for himself, he's probably going to have to bite his tongue to avoid asking too many questions. He wouldn't want to overstep any boundaries, considering his future self had apparently made a decent impression.

Look at him - nodding in agreement with that statement.]

I'm not sure if I want to imagine him with telepathic abilities.

[Of course, his own tone is also tinged with affection.]

I don't think there's a rule about it? Peter has already been informed of future things and nothing's exploded. [Pause.] Yet.

Mm. Well he's the same old Logan, or at least I would think he is. He never really seems to change.

[Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Rogue owes him a lot, and there is no way she can ever truly thank him. But, he is a constant, no matter what, and no matter how far he roams and for how long.]

It makes you wonder if you'd change things then... Or if you even have any inkling of anything when we return home.

He seems ... rough-edged, for lack of a better word. He's been nothing but friendly and helpful to me.

['Protective' could have been added, though that was more obvious when he'd been stuck with the body of a child. Their first encounter had been awkward, since the last time Kurt had seen Logan was fleeing the facility that he, Jean and Scott had broken into. After some careful explanations (he's never mentioned the run-in from his own timeline), the both of them have started to develop what the blue boy would hopefully call a 'friendship'.]

That is something to think about, ja. I guess we will never really know until we go home?

He might seem all gruff, but he's got a heart of gold. [Although there is a small pause.] Just don't let him know I told you.

[Then again, Logan would deny it anyway, chances are, but it doesn't change the regard that Rogue will always have for him. Heck, even the time she stole in to his truck to hitch a ride for free... Friendships can happen in the strangest of places.]

Has anyone gone home? An' can you really be certain that they have and haven't just... ended up somewhere else, trapped?

I won't tell. [He grins, lifting a hand to rest his finger against his lips in a shushing manner.] You can sense it with him. I imagine it might be like trying to hug a cactus, though.

[Mostly in the fact that Logan probably wouldn't reciprocate in kind, not so much that he's 'prickly' or anything like that.

His features wilt at the mentioning of people going home, earlier memories of his chat with Peter about such things flooding back. He doesn't want to talk about it, but he should. Things happen, people went home ... or so that's what they were told.] Nobody that I know personally. Someone I've talked to spoke of people going home, though we've never been given proof of that.

[That earns a laugh from Rogue, as Logan may well like that statement. He can be prickly, although it's never put her off. She'll always remember all the things that he has done for her, including not kicking her ass to the curb when she first sneaked in to his truck.]

He's helped me out of a lot of sticky situations. I owe him my life several times over.

[Although she certainly has hugged him and gotten hugs in return, but she won't let that cat out of the bag. The last thing he likely desires is to have people just hugging him.

She nods though, silently contemplative.]

Guess sometimes we just have to take a leap of faith.

[Another moment of silence on his end, a soft smile coming across his face as he thinks back to when Logan had rescued him in the caves from those creepy, no-faced monsters. He absently shrugs his shoulders then bobs his head in agreement.]

As do I.

[He's not sure how he'll ever repay Logan for that, but he's determined to find a way.]

That's all I've been doing since my arrival. [Beat.] I think I've also been graced with the gift of luck.

Mm. Well, you were pretty awesome when you saved me, an' that was a fairly decent leap of faith you gave. Otherwise, I'd have gone splat on the ground.

[And there is no exaggeration there. It still gives her the bejeebies sometimes, but she'd take that any day over having falling to her death.]

... I saved you? [Pardon his incredulous response, but hearing this has reminded him of his actions on the warplane. Back home, of course. Maybe he's braver than he's given himself credit for.]

We may not exactly know each other at the moment, but I'm glad that I was able to help you when I could.

You did. We were on the Blackbird, an' it got hit. I fell out of it, and you leaped out to save me.

[Which could have gone wrong in so many ways, especially with her abilities.]

[Kurt does his best to not bounce in place, enthusiasm flooding his features, made clear by the appearance of the broad grin on his face.]

Wunderbar! Erhm, not that you fell out of the plane, but that I acted quick enough to help.

[He in infectious, and Rogue's own smile broadens.]

You were, so Ah guess you have that to look forward to.

I must admit, it's an exciting thing to look forward to.

[He goes quiet for a moment in sudden realization.]

Ach, how rude of me! You know my name, but I did not ask you for yours.

Oh. Oh! No! That's all on me... I just got so lost in, well, you being so young.

[Perhaps a bit sheepishly there. Yet, she does provide her name.]

It's Rogue.

That's fine, of course. I'm sure it's odd to see me at this age.

[Kurt holds the TAB out with one hand and curls the other over his chest, head bowing in greeting to her.]

A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Rogue.

[It earns a bright and genuine smile from her.]

An' it's nice to meet you again, too.

[His own grin is just as broad and if that doesn't show his enthusiasm, the tail lashing behind him should.]

I hope to get the chance to meet you in person soon!

I'd like that.
