Is this thing- [The feed starts to show a teenage girl staring down at the feed. Her bottom lip is between her teeth, before she lets out a little huff, sending strands of white and brown hair fluttering away from her face.] Okay. [A slight drawl to that, as a gloved hand pushes her hair back behind her ear.] I've seen and heard some crazy things, but Ah gotta admit, this? I think this takes the blue ribbon.
[Not to mention the fact that she still feels like she wants to puke her guts out.] Ah get what was said by those people that I spoke with. I'm not stupid, but... Well, I mean, it's a bit hard to accept this. That guide- [The tone of her voice really says it all about the guide. But, if what it says is true... It is a lot to take in, and a lot that really doesn't seem right or real.
Of course that leads to a lot of other questions, such as who, and why, and how.] Is it true though? Any of it? Twin planets and space travel- We ain't even gone beyond the moon yet!
[And that part she hesitates on.] Or, or is this just someone's idea of a stupid joke. [A stupid joke.] 'cause it's not funny, if it is.
But Ah guess I should say hello, 'cause I'm here for now, wherever here actually is. Name's Rogue. And, don't suppose anyone knows of Xavier's Institute...?

Re: Video;
But like I said, it doesn't mean much. Timelines are pretty screwy here. Jean and Kurt think I'm supposed to be a real adult instead of their age, so like. Yeah. It's weird.
You should probably talk to her about it.
[If only because 'talk to Jean' had become his answer to all X-Men weirdness since she showed up.]
Video;
Ah know- know Jean and Kurt, but who are you?
Video;
Video;
[She can't say that she wants to do the math at the moment, and wishes to hell and high water that it really all is some sort of a joke.
There is a soft snort and a roll of her eyes at the pretty face comment.]
But sorry. Your name ain't ringing any bells.
Video;
[Obviously farther along than Jean and Kurt. If Jean won't tell him anything about the future, then she couldn't get angry if he started asking someone else.]
Weird. And you go to the school?
[The way Jean and Kurt acted, he figured future him must have taken up a post there.]
Well, you've heard of me know.
Video;
It was 2006.
[But she nodded at his question. She had been, although if she took the cure... Well, she hadn't thought that far ahead.]
I attended the institute.
[Had for a couple of years now, actually. Been taught by Scott and Jean and Storm. Met others along the way to.
Rogue's lips give a little twitch. For what it is worth, she has, and maybe, just maybe, there is something to be said about knowing that there are other mutants here.]
An' I won't forget that pretty face.
Re: Video;
Wow. And I thought everyone popping in from the 80s was far in the future.
Right. Weird. Guess I must took off or something.
[It's best not to think too hard about it, after what he knew about Pietro.
He grins easily at her teasing, laughing quietly.]
Rogue, that flattery will get you everywhere with me. I'll be glad to be of service, if you need it.
Video;
I do know that there are mutants that don't stay at the institute.
[So he is likely one of them. Maybe he had gone off and found a life of his own. From the looks of it, he can pass for human. No wings or tails or horns.]
Thanks, Peter. The same to you, although I don't know what help I could be in turn.
Video;
[He met one that was living in a cell under the Pentagon, after all.]
Oh, you could do a lot of things for me. Keep me company at a movie, maybe. You know, if this place has theaters. It'd be a real help.
Video;
[A wry tone to her voice.]
Smooth.
Video;
Hey, if it's not a movie, I'm sure I can find something else you'd like.
Video;
[Arched eyebrow although there is a smile on her face.]
What is there to do anyway?
Video;
[Don't push your luck Peter.]
Here? Not sure, really. You've shown up just as all of us are getting settled on these planets. There's a city and some farmland and a lot of trees? I think this is downtime for us, a chance to relax after a few months of shit, you know? Actually, just be glad you didn't pop in earlier.
Re: Video;
[Although her expression does grow contemplative.]
Takin' it that space travel wasn't all it was cracked up to be?
Re: Video;
[The playful act drops. Peter sighs.]
Hardly. We just spent the last month or so running around a wasteland and a bunch of caves because we sort of crashed. And that it was still only the second worse crash we've had.
Re: Video;
Guess that means you might have to start building one then, if there isn't one.
[Truthfully, over the last few years, Rogue has been pretty focused on staying alive. Not like mutants are the most welcome, even if she would never hurt anyone. Space travel isn't something that she thinks about.]
Please tell me that you only crashed twice... I mean, twice is already two times too many...
Video;
Happily, all I've heard of is twice. But at least the last time wasn't into the ocean. No worrying about drowning.
Video;
[Or does he mean engineering... Is that a mutation? It does give her pause though, before mentally shrugging that thought aside.]
So as long as planets don't crash in to planets, and ships don't come crashing down here, we're all good.... ish.
Video;
"Ish" is the word for it. We don't really know much about this place, so we can only hope it all works out here.
Video;
Some motivational thing then, like hang in there! Or live your life one day at a time...
Video;
[He mutters. Not even the future would mean another speedster? He guesses he should consider himself lucky he ever got to meet Tommy, in that regard.]
If you're into that whole Hallmark card kind of thing. Mostly my advice is to just not think about it too much. Like the weird resurrections or people disappearing home. Just ignore it if you want to not go crazy from it.
Video;
Or just someone else out there that I haven't met.
[Although she would pity anyone who had an ability like her own.
Her nose crinkles slightly.]
So more like roll with the punches.
Video;
[He shrugs. He can't let it be big deal. At least he's not the only one with powers anymore. That's enough.]
Pretty much. Hey, at least you got people here you kind of know. That makes it easier.
Video;
Maybe you're all together, in some club, in like, Alaska or something.
[Which she knows is ridiculous, but who knows. Maybe they are.
She does pause, before exhaling lightly.]
True. Guess it would be harder if I didn't know anyone.
Video;
[He's learned that one through a few too many falls.]
It was. [Something else he knew from experience.] You got lucky having mutants already around.
