[ There's more than one reason why Bruce chooses text over audio or video, but right now, the main one is because he wants to avoid any confrontations. There's still a good chance they might come, if people recognize him by name alone, but this way he keeps a certain amount of distance. ]
Hi. This is Bruce Banner. Given the current state of the ship, I've been trying to think of ways to cope with the cold that seems to have settled pretty much everywhere. I don't know nearly enough to suggest how to fix it, besides it doesn't seem like there's much anyone could do in that regard - but we can still try to help each other through this.
My suggestion would be to find one single space, large enough for the whole crew, but still not so large that the cold disperses too much. Preferably somewhere that's dry - so no pool or mess hall, for instance. We should all move there temporarily, take as many clothes, blankets and pillows as we can, and settle in together. It'll help us all keep warm a little better, I think. Not to mention we might avoid life support going down on places at random, if we can get the captains to focus most of whatever energy there is in maintaining the environment in one room.
[ AND because he's sure some people will know him by name... ]
By the way, in case you're wondering: yes, I'm that Bruce Banner. Ask your questions, if you have any.
Otherwise, feel free to suggest some places for us to settle in.

[ Good thing this is over text, so his embarrassment is safely hidden. Not that Bruce would judge. ]
Exactly. I mean, I don't want to be pessimistic here, but it's probably for the better that we're ready for the worst. Then maybe next time we'll have a better idea on what to do.
So what's your name?

[ But he still feels like he should have realized. ]
Definitely. I think there's benefit from being pessimistic in this situation. And I'd rather be prepared on some level for whatever happens next than not prepared at all.
I'm Agent Washington. But, people just call me Wash. I probably should have opened with that, sorry.

It's alright. And good to meet you, Wash. Well, just over text, but still.

It's still a way of meeting, sort of. But it's good to meet you too! We'll probably meet in person soon because I know I'll be headed down to the library.
